The pastor has done nothing wrong. Muslims, Traditionalists, Buddhists etc all fast and consecrate themselves for some period. Some are even severe that they don't see people.

This is biblically wrong. You can have sex after breaking your fast in the evening. Mutual consent is between the husband and wife and not to be legislated by a pastor. Why do we like to twist the Bible so much?
