Hello everyone, please help... my passport expires in September.... i have started the process of getting a new one - capturing is next week. However, i got PPR on the 14th and i am not sure the new passport will be ready within 30 days.

Can i go ahead and submit my old passport for the visa as i actually plan to travel latest by end of August? Or should i wait for the new passport and plead with IRCC for an extension?

Tell the immigration officer handling your passport to fast track it. You can get it in less than a week sef. You only need to pay a lil extra.

Thanks for the reply 🙏🏽

Hi McChizzy,

Be at peace. If you're not opting for the SDS route, then IELTS isn't mandatory.

Please proceed with your application.

Can't wait to celebrate with you!

My people.

My spouse applied and was admitted into a 2-year Nursing program.

We are both based in the U.K where we work.

However, I won't be going to Canada with her as I intend to support her and my kid from here financially.

Any advantages of applying for a study permit from the U.K. as a citizen of Nigeria? Any disadvantages? Do you know anyone who has?

Goodday Gurus In the house. I have an important question.

Can I receive a gift deed of 10million naira from a person who isn’t stated as my sponsor, if so, how do I go about it and what documents do I need to submit in regards to show the legitimacy of the gift.

Good evening all, I would like some clarification. Does IOM send a copy of your full medical report to you? I have seen peeps that did Medicals but only a copy of the e-medical information sheet is given to them, to upload in their application.
So does IOM send a copy of your full medical report to you?

They send to you on request. You can request for your medical examination result after a week.

Cheers

You can’t keep IRCC in the dark.
Update them of any difficulty/challenge you may be facing concerning completing your medicals in the 30days window given to you.

You can do that by sending them your e-medical slip via webform and both via email: on the subject of the email, write URGENT.

Go on to explain your progress so far with the medical exams and the challenge you’re having with the Incomplete X-Ray.

Please do that ASAP. It’s risky not to submit requested documents within allotted timelines.

GL
Please what is the email to send message to or how to do the web form because I couldn't find anywhere that gives the option to do that on the webform

Good afternoon everyone, please I need advice for a second time applicant. The first refusal was because of the proof of funds(insufficient funds). For the second application is it advisable to have someone stand as a sponsor and use the person’s bank account (not related to the applicant) and also upload land property that belongs to the applicant's Parents?

Thank you, I appreciate you so much.

bullstriker:
Regarding the purpose of the visit, focus on the study plan – being a bonafide student, reasonableness as pertains to career advancement. Is the program related to her present occupation? What are her plans after her studies? Establish the program's relevance to your wife’s current and future career path.

Review both bank statements for large deposits. A VO can refuse an application for insufficient funds if there is a large deposit with no reasonable explanations and the account's history is inconsistent with such a deposit.

Since the principal’s application was refused, they cannot approve the accompanying dependant’s application.

Order a gcms note to get the exact reasons for this refusal so you can address them.

Good day people,

Please can someone help me with this question. Do I need to maintain a minimum balance before applying for loan from mpower financing company?

Also, can I apply above $50,000 at the beginning of the application?

Please I will appreciate your urgent response

Thank you

You cannot apply for more than $50,000 at time, though your lifetime limit is $100,000. You are expected to have funds that will at least cover one month living expenses.
