This doesn't make sense, if igbos aspire to lead in Lagos and the party deemed him or her fit and allowed the person contest in an election, they will definitely have pple who will vote for them. If Lagos indegenes do not want igbos in their politics, then they should let the parties in Lagos know that they should never field candidates from other tribes in the state.

Igbos shud have sense.. Any party dt want to field them in Lagos and SW will accept..

Do u want the parties in need of money to reject the money he will be offering?

Let him take the party form, we will make sure he loses

People like this foolish bigoted man shouldn’t be allowed to use social media. Infact, Nigeria is too volatile to be an entity.

At this point, I dare say Nigeria can never be one. We’re just deceiving ourselves.

Getting him off social media is a temporary solution. What he's said is engraved in the heart of many Yoruba especially at this time.

A lot of hate has been made to fly during Obi's campaigns. The country needs healing at this time.

Does an Ekiti man have more stake in Lagos than a Jigawa man?
States are federating units.
The right an Ogun man has in Lagos is the same as that of a Delta man.

The north have written the script. The Yorubas are foolishly acting it out while they think they are doing the ibo's. Tinubu is just a caricature in Aso rock being used as a laughing stock by the northerners.

Lekki seaport is not Funded by the FG, show me one of your governors that is willing to fund a port through state resources or private investors and tell me that the FG refused to approve and then we can have a conversation

Exactly our point...
This should be the last time igbos will put their mouth in an affair like Lagos gubernatorial election..

They can aspire for senate and house of rep but when it comes to lagos governorship , they should mind their business..

If any Yoruba candidate comes to Igbos for endorsement, let them tell him to go and get his tribe endorsement.. Igbos should only align with whoever the majority of the tribe agree with...

Igbo should mind their business in Lagos... Hausa don't meddle into yoruba issue like igbos do...

I repeat:

House of Rep - Igbos are allowed
Senate - Allowed
Governor - Banned till Jesus comes and even if Jesus comes, igbos are not allowed.

Who dash dem councilor? Other than appointment they cannot vie for elective offices to represent indigenes in their own land.

Never again!

you are the one who started it in southeast you will never allowed any other tribes to contest in your land or holding any sensitive office but you want to contest and holding sensitive office in another tribes land you are the most hateful tribes in this country

Omo the level of politics and ethnic bigotry in Nigeria is on a high scale!....Ain't child's play!!

This is not about bigotry. It is about ownership. They have where they came from. Let them face it. This has been happening from the days of Zik to Ojukwun and till now. History will blame Yorubas if they don't set the records straight now.

The US is building the biggest embassy in the world at Lagos. The US, UK, Germany, France etc cannot build embassies/ high commissions in States where they are not allowed to operate on Monday. They can't build embassies in States where their safety isn't assured. It's not like they are building the facilities in Benue or Zamfara or Yobe.

In my Niger Delta, we're now a ghost town. Companies and investors have fled because all we did was kidnap them and make the environment hostile for them. Misinformed agitators disrupted production processes because they felt entitled to special dues for having the companies on their land. When they ran away, they relocated to the South West.

There are ports working in the South South. I have friends working in Onne port in Rivers State for instance.

It's high time we stopped blaming others.

Igbos tried their might and believed they have arrived in Lagos with presidential election not knowing that Tinubu Muslim-Muslim ticket was why many Yorubas listened to them to vote against Tinubu. Now they thought they can actually use one ba$tard to take over Lagos which is not possible because Yorubas are not dumb. They will try again and they will still fail.

Igbos are peaceful by nature, they don't look for trouble, this no man's land slogan is from the Yorubas, probably from non Lagosians, igbos always respect their hosts, igbos are the only people that take another man's land as their own, develop, build and stay there, no other tribe in Nigeria does that, so framing igbos up on no man's land something is inhuman, no igbo man will call Lagos a no man's land, infact, Lagos is second home to many igbos

Shut up and stop denying.... Igbos have said it many times without number..

The fundamental difference to the North is we will use the law to deal with our enemies not violence

You people don't seem to understand it.

When a bully is bullying you, they don't care if you are on your right or not, they bully you because they feel like they have the power to, and there is nothing you can do.

That's the case here.

What the Yorubas care about is there interest, they don't care about us.

It's better for Igbos to unite and pursue a goal at all cost, if it's developing the east, fine.

I understand you loud and clear. As for the development in the east, we have already started by electing LP regardless of previous party strongholds in eastern states. But we can only do so much without federal might. So like I said, there are certain things needed critically that makes the Igbo reside outside their region. Until it is rectified, we can only continue to manage ourselves.
And if you ask me o, a bully will always bully you unless you fight back. All my life, those who bullied me received it. Today, my former bullies are pals because there's respect.

Is there anything wrong in Ibo’s not interfering in Yoruba land politics, what Ademola can’t try in anambra, chinedu wants to try it in Lagos…who does that. Before I forget I leant that ladipo spare part market was originally allocated as children amusement parks and alaba electronics market was originally designed for Lagos State college of education but was given to the Igbos out of Yoruba magnanimity but now they wanted to take over the reign of government in Lagos, before you quote rubbish GRV OR GVR as you choose to call him hate Yoruba with passion and he doesn’t hide it, the height of it is that he can’t even speak simple Yoruba but speak Igbo fluently, finally he lost his polling both yesterday.

This election has shown Yorubas to be emotional. I therefore advise Igbos to always support a particular candidate for every election so that his fellow Yorubas will fight, ostracise and embarrass him. In-house division we must achieve.

Igbos should respect the host and owner of Lagos just as the Hausas and other tribes dwelling in Lagos are respecting their host.
