Nairaland has helped me in so many ways. I met the person that taught me the business I'm doing today on nairaland. She lectured me and mentored me about the business till I was able to start on my own. 70% of my great clients are from nairaland. Honestly you won't know the calibre of people here till you meet them. Very rich people are here o 😊.

Thank to everyone that's behind the success of nairaland

😓😓 i'm usually alone
.., being on nairaland makes me feel as though i'm hanging out with friends right inside the room..
Since my setback with massive financial constraints, i've had to put up with issues after laughing hard on comments from here that usually keep me going.. That's the truth..

How has Nairaland helped you?
in all areas I meant
NL has not helped me in any way. It just a platform fuelling tribalism and hate in Nigeria with the help of Seun and his moderators.
They are not different from Nigerians politicians.

Nairaland opened my consciousness to life overseas, now I'm out of naija with my family and not only that, I've processed more than five different visas in different countries for people without using agents. Only from contributions of members. Awkward but yeah...nairaland is my default search engine.

Nairaland has shown me that we as Nigerians are not one and may sadly, never be.

It has made me realize that TRIBALISM is real and we may have a replay of Hotel Rwanda in Nigeria at some point in the future.

NL has taught me how to yab people wey no get sense
On a normal day I don’t meet such people, NL is that avenue for me to be catching cruise when I’m bored.

But NL has helped me to be abreast with political happenings, me normally no like news. But just reading headlines is like enough info for me, I get to always discuss news with my dad whenever he wants to gist me about Naija politics, I don’t get caught off guard

It has helped me in so many ways. Some that I can even remember. Severally I have tried to search google for answers/solution to issues and Nairaland will come in my search box with extensive discussion on it.

Nairaland for a while now has been my major source of news/ news confirmation. I use my phone a lot so at intervals, I check the front page of for news updates. Also, when ever I hear anything news and what to check it's authenticity I will come to search for the link here.

I came across it not quite long after it was launched. It was my 'go to' for job vacancies then. I got lots of information here then.

I have been here since 2011. I enjoyed the political debates leading up to the 2011 elections and decided to register. Also, it had and still has relevant information from a Nigerian perspective.

Notable feats between Nairaland and myself:

- Got by first job from here (hired by a Nairalander),
- Got tips on how to attain a first class, which I didn't attain sef.
- Got invaluable tips on self development. Frequent commentary on Nairaland aided my writing skills immensely. I recalled commenting almost every single day.
- Got to know my UTME aka JAMB result on Nairaland.
- Got the relevant information I used to japa
- Got paired with good folks who have remained buddies till date.
- and many more too numerous to mention
