You are 💯 correct.
Exactly what I know. When you see 10% daily, pack ya load and be ready for japa. FPI are about to leave. They will create the news for FOMO, mass slaughtering and dumping

Do you believe that is what is happening with ftncocoa as well? It's been doing 10% daily

This is a deep truth about the market. Unfortunately, many folks that come here are coming with a mind to be an investor but most of them follow traders advice and they will jump in and out of stock at the slightest change in price without considering value.
Weldone oga Emma.
Well said @Emma.
Maybe as trader, someone like me needed to reduce the rate of posting daily activities that's much more related to traders mode of trading. Think I've actually been reducing it and will try more.

Newbies especially needs to embrace and inculcate investing habits with higher % goals on value... because some copy traders that knows their way around the market while they in turn do not know much about the 'tricks' that may be involved.
.....and the unfortunate aspect of it is that they won't ask those who knows road but will be doing trial and error. When odds are against them, they blame someone else for it.

NPF microfinance wants to transition to a DMB which will lead to increase in issued share capital. Does this mean dilution of share price?

Please, Sir Emma and Sir OGG, I have 200k to invest for a period of 12months. Which stock stock will you recommend for a better profit margin?
Thanks.

I still bought more shares of Lafarge yesterday.
A business won't go under overnight, the signs will be there at least for 12 months.

There is a difference between making money from a stock whose business is losing money and fundamentals are shaky, and losing money from a stock whose business is making money and fundamentals are sound.

The first one is a trader's delight while the second one is an investor's delight.
The earlier we know the difference between price and value the better.

And the difference is that while the former has a possibility of ERODING value in time, the latter has a plausibility of CREATING value with time.
Again unlike the former, the latter ensures your in charge of your EMOTION, which by the way is a very pivotal and impacting factor in the investment world. wink cheesy cool
...it's the remarkable "chasm" between a SPECULATIVE PLAY/TRADING and the ACT & SCIENCE OF INVESTING!

Good one!
But why bother convincing those who will likely comeback to align with/buy the very same GTB from you @ N30-35+ UBA/ACCESS @ N12-15, WAPCO @ N35+, DS @ N30+, UNILEVER @ N20-25 to mention just a few?
Don't worry! ...they'll come back (together with more of their "messiah-like" FPIs) to help you bid up prices in the course of time. wink cheesy cool

Once you've done your bit given out the right guidance, just allow Mr TIME to take care of the rest!

"The difference between INVESTING and SPECULATING is like 'playing a ring/live action game' and 'gambling in the land of ghosts'

...the problem however is that the latter process can oftentimes be catastrophic!"

Oga, this information is actually wrong.
When you see 10% almost everyday, that means they were already in the market and about to leave the market.
Was there 10%, when FO entered Transcorp? But when he was about to leave it became news.
Was there 10% when Heineken bought more share of NB? In fact alot of people do not know. But when they want to leave, you will see NB at N150
It is about this time they enter the market when there is a level of uncertainty in the eyes or the ordinary investor.
The sophisticated investors know what to look at
Like the saying goes "Be fearful when others are greedy, be greedy when others are fearful"

...very apt!
Infact, come to Mama Ejiro's place for the usual. wink cheesy cool
