I get the feeling that you're having plenty of fun seeing how most of your recent posts appears to describe one who lives in cloud cuckoo land and largely deviated from reality.

I like the way you seem to have built a pie in the sky representing what is clearly a broadly bullish market trend as a bearish and manipulated one.
I once told someone that those who try to fight the trend (whether positive or negative) never win against the mkt. ...it's either they're crushed, often lamentably, or they get left behind.

The mkt is on a positive part, and that, for good reason.
Unlike in previous seasons, there's a reason the rise has been a bit selective/seemingly rotational and not spread across all coys (mkt wide sentiment) at a go.
So I'd like to think it will not be a straight line push up, but yes a period of HLs and HHs as certain assets reprise to reflect their intrinsic valuations is feasible in the near term.

We can not "fight" the mkt! ...we can only seek to "play along with it" having in place a workable strategy that's unique to our investing personality and target objectives.

But it's always nice to see folks like you who put out cautionary statements time and again so mkt players can limit their expectations and not drop their guard as it relates to investment planning, particularly in an uptrend like the one we have now.
That said, when you repeatedly do the same thing for so long, you create a justifiably moral ground for others to question your motive/intent irrespective of whether they might be true.

You've done really well dishing out statements of caution so folks can weigh things in perspective in their investment decision making.
I personally welcome and respect that and quite frankly, am being very honest!
But if I were you, I'd take a well deserved break now. ...'cause i'll be worried that some persons might already think i've got a foot-in-mouth disease.
Again, you have done noble but i'll advise you take a break.
...you deserve it!

By the way the phrase; "concept of neutrality" as used in one of my Nuggets below relates with "trend following".
With the financial mkt, it's always best to "live in the present" and where necessary, seek to take advantage of what the future holds.

It is well

"One of the finest similarity between a bull and a bear market is that both OVERCONFIDENCE and UNDERCONFIDENCE can be punishable offences.
...'the jury' tends to vindicate those who understand 'the concept of neutrality' where necessary and are swift enough to act on it!"

~Sinclair

"I know of a man who was 'drowned in the vicissitudes of the stock market'. ...his pathways was built around the PAST than the FUTURE, until the PRESENT left him behind!"
~Sinclair

Chief,

The market is bullish but it is unsustainable

It is a market similar to the COVID pump that happened in cryptos, shitcoins and us stock markets.

JUMIA did a 14x during that period...it has since returned to it's price pre COVID.

Solution is to look for stocks that haven't pumped that meet your investment reqmts. (Some of these stocks include intbrew, npfmcrfbk, nb, flourmills, uacn, livestock feed, unilever)

A word is enough for the wise.

This is a faceless forum so I care not. Many that receives motivational talks will average down tire till smart guys on NSE get to their entry level then repeat the process again. Anyone can call me anything I YOUNGBUFFET CARE NOT. Why can't you guys always write epistles to your followers cautioning then not to buy at high prices as you tell them the positive side of stocks? Nothing in this life is certain, Cadbury was high in those days till the MD cooked the FS statements and stock came down to N8 from around N70 if not that Cadbury international came in the company would have gone under water. If another CBN governor takes over tomorrow and decided to go deep into the doings of banks and for instance access or zenith have padded things and was discovered. Do u think those that bought at N35+ will be happy if it gets to N10 with their discovery? Let me be! Sela!

Don't mind them....

Technical analysis is the same whether in Japan or Morocco or Nigeria

Quick pump means Quick Dump

Here are two examples from NSE :
-Japaul Gold
-FBNH (First Bank)

For FBNH, the market rose from 3naira in May 2017 to 14 naira in Jan 2018, it then fell for two straight years hitting a low of 4 naira by April 2020.

Like I said earlier, focus on companies that haven't pumped. A word is enough for the wise.

...what you are missing out is the environments (sentiments, economic policies, etc) are totally different. You look at so many factors before you compare "apple" with "kolanut".
An example from NSE would have justified your opinion not from NYSE or JSE or MSE wink

No problem boss, so tell us where do you think fbnh will be in two years?

Above 20 naira or below 13 naira....

lol!
In 2 years FBNH stock price will be influenced by several key factors, including:
- economic policies in Nigeria
-FBNH's financial health
-Investor sentiment regarding the bank's performance
-other relevant factors
I hope that provides you some insight! wink

It will fall now. Any rise that is not supported by earning growth, efficiency in profitability, it all go back to the status quo. FBN was in wood for years but I need it is now out of the wood.

Kindly produce the chart for Zenith, Vitafoam, Nahco and United Capital. These companies have grown their earnings and increased their dividends

Bro, can you please enlighten us about the padding going on with Zenith? Abi no be the same statements everyone already looked at? Maybe youโ€™re seeing something we are all missing? Point us in the right direction

If u can't understand my hypothetical analysis, I can't help you, sorry about that. All I know is averaging down loading to the entry point then another pump takes over again which may not even get to the previous high. But am sure with time average down would be done to 25 first then pump up to around 27 then dump resume to #20-23 but if ill fate befall the economy then we are heading back to the days of 15-17 then average down investors will now believe that talk of warren Buffet that says be fearful when others are greedy and be greedy when others are fearful.

Unity Bank!
I have noticed the recent rally and interest in the price of Unity Bank. 'Newbies', please stay away o. Leave the stock for the 'smart' ones o. They can handle any outcome better. Reminds me of Skye Bank and my loss there (even though Skye was healthier than Unity).

Unity Bank is and has always been around because of other considerations - political, etc. It could not even meet the minimum N25billion capitalisation after the banking consolidation exercise that year. Now, it has been on NEGATIVE 'capital' for some years.

FBN going to 35 in the next 2 yrs, FBN that it was FO that changed their narration when he came in and Transcourp when he came in. Average down gang another food for you my PT for fbn in the next 2yrs is 35. The price gave by motivational speaker is lower cos it can even be achieved this coming week if they really wanted to pump. They can pump it to that level in just 3 days. But I wish they can take it to 35 so average down can be sweet from 35-40.

Unity bank is for hit and run

Someone looking for a quick 20-40% profit in days

In 13 days for the month to end, it is very likely unity bank will achieve that.

AFTER THE MONTH ENDS,
it is extremely dangerous to hold onto or buy Unity bank .50-50 chance it pumps like ftn cocoa or crashes like penny stocks like abc transport. Whichever one happens, will happen with speed.

The charts only show changes in share price and not dividend being paid out

If you want to compare dividends being paid out, you can check out this two website and search for the relevant companies:
https://www.morningstar.com/stocks/xnsa/zenith/dividends
https://simplywall.st/stocks/ng/food-beverage-tobacco/ngse-intbrew/international-breweries-shares/management

I think you'll find all you need as a fundamental analyst in the websites or on tradingview.com.

Both are free to use.

The problem with unity bank is that the cbn can wake up tomorrow and liquidate that bank without notifying any shareholder. I don't think there is a way the charts can predict the cbn move.
Trading on a bank with a negative capital is a highly dangerous game.
One can loose everything and that is when gamblers will start blaming everyone except themselves.

The bank is a political entity

It all depends on IBB's relationship with TInubu

IBB's daughter is a member of the board.

I suggest that dividends not paid into the client's bank account should be credited into the client's stockbroking account balance through which he bought the shares, pending when the client is able to access these funds via his stockbroking house.

This would be most ideal. People can re-invest this amount if that's their choice.
