Would you expect UKVI to bend policies for currency fluctuations for every country??


There are options of paying more deposit to your Uni's and/or paying for accommodation to help buffer the difference.


A straight answer to your question No. If the criteria for study visa application are met, and documents are genuine then the applicant's visa will be issued, if not then it will be refused.

When did you request for the correction? How long has it been?If it is more than 2weeks please chase up by contacting UKVI either via paid mail or paid calls.

I won't worry too much on the visa vignette as that will expire.When you arrive and receive the BRP with same error then try to correct it

If you have time you can request to correct it now but know it will cause more delays

Also, is it a problem if a spouse's initials are switched on a dependant's visa? Instead of A B Surname, it's B A Surname.

The passport will be sent back on Monday for correction of the passport number

I only got the passport yesterday and noticed the error. So it will be sent back on Monday. I wanted to know how long I'd have to wait to get the passport back.

Good morning everyone @duchess please my wife is the MA and I am the dependant all the POF funds is in my account. The new exchange rate has really affected our POF with an additional 2 million and our POF will mature by Wednesday next week. My question is;
1. I got a 4 million naira loan from a friend.
2. I'm thinking if MA can use the running POF and add the 4million on Wednesday to start a new POF for MYSELF.
3. With this last point on the picture "apply the same time" below affect me Since the POF is in partner's (dependant) account and he will be applying few days interval...
4. should I start a new POF

During your filling of the application, you were suppose to be directed to a payment portal, where your will be shown a one time account number payment ....if you didn't get this, I will advise you mail them, or call the attached number and lay your complaint.

Your bank statement is valid for 31days so you must attend your biometrics before the 31st day of printing it


Where that falls between doing it same month or the next month doesn't matter and that decision is entirely yours

Best advice is to submit your documents as close enough to your biometrics day

Can I bring my dependents along for a visa appointment on my assigned date, even though their appointments were scheduled two weeks apart?
I heard there is something called walk in service . Can someone please explain this to me . And please should I use a 30 or 28 days bank statement ?

This is exactly what I did. I had a joint POF with my partner but because of the surge in rate, I'll only use it to get CAS and visa. My partner already commenced her POF in her own bank account yesterday.

Nope for me it is not a fund recycling because I am adding money and not removing from the existing fund

Please is form A application still done on the CBN Trade monitoring system or now directly with the bank and what point did the banks communicate their selling rate

For someobe who traveeled out of the country and the passport expired oversea. The person tried in renewing the passport abroad, but the names on the nin is different from that on the passport in term of arrangement.

For instance;

On Nin, the name is A B C

On Passport, the name is A C B

Please what can such do?

Meanwhile, the name on Nin is the one that's rightly arranged.

It is highly competitive since you are not the only one applying for it... Just package yourself well in the question that will asked and have second class upper and above or it equivalent...
