Same jamb spokesperson said the girl didn't register for the exam. Where did this result come from?
Show me any publication where the Jamb spokesman said she didn't register for the exam?

Its wicked to accuse this little girl of forgery without investigation. What if she turns out to be innocent?

I may not agree with the paper of the JAMB score presented by the girl, but what about her text message?
Isn't it that JAMB reviewed and later reduced the score earlier sent to the innocent girl?
Because, with Nigerian government people, everything is possible.

Seriously, human right lawyers should step into this matter, privately interrogate the child and her parents and know if JAMB should be charged for double standard.

You guys are just being stuck in a tribally bigoted loop that you all fail to ask critical and important questions like...

●How in the name of Hell and Heaven could she, an underage, a minor be able to afford the money for fraudulent result Upgrade, especially in this economy?

●If her parents sponsored the upgrade, don't you think they'd want it all to be low key?

●If she could afford the upgrade per se, would she be stupid enough to call attention to herself?

Let us all learn to critically assess situations before we spit nonsense we would later regret.

It is possible to make points without insults. Look at the issue dispassionately and dial down the emotion.

Issues arising from any exam board within a country throw all examination boards including within that country into doubt. There is reason why the IGCSE is the fastest growing exam board in Nigeria when waec does the same thing.

There are no ethnic bigots on all sides. I do not see how what i wrote contains bigotry in any form. Your bigotry detecting senses must be in over drive. The only people who are introducing bigotry are those who flew the kite that this is somehow about a yoruba registrar and an innocent young igbo girl. It was a deliberate attempt to muddy the waters knowing that ethnic jingoistic will take the bait.

Investigations are underway, Jamb has pushed out its position eloquently over media. So long as some rabbit trail is not introduced over the next few days we will see where this goes.

But I am not holding my breath.
The bolded is simply not true. WAEC has had issues in the past with miracle centers. Even Jamb itself was suspended in 1996 because of leakages.
Even SATs in the US has been in controversy before.
No one has because of that raised credibility issues.
The point I'm making is that this is not the first time this is happening. It happened two years back as well. What the authorities need to do is to ensure they get to the root of how the fraudulent (if true) result came about. That's the holistic way to go about it not looking for who is guilty between jamb and the girl

You want to go "Wole Soyinka" all up in my ass right now? Man, I'll love to see that one!

Been a fine while I got this entertained on this platform anyway. I could use the amusement, you know.

On another note, you need to refund whatever monies folks have paid you to learn the nonsense you're teaching in the name of "English Language". And you should preferably take up a career in stand-up comedy. Or better still, join the circus. You'll fit right in.

Why should anything happen to her? She is pushing her claim everywhere, should Jamb keep quiet? Jamb has conducted its own investigation, DSS is next. The matter will probably go to court.

Jamb has a duty to defend their process, their result and their logo and to do so aggressively in the same public domain in which the girl is asserting her truth.

Do you know that foreign higher education institutions are watching this very closely? If for some reason they begin to doubt jambs process say bye bye to overseas education using Nigerian qualifications.

I neither blame the girl, nor jamb... I feel a proper investigation has to be carried out.

At this point, may I ask: are you one of her collaborators?

So many errors her accomplices made. I believe they are all these Yahoo Yahoo boys or girls that knows a bit of desktop publishing but lack the intricacy of documentation editing or proof spelling of materials.

As for the exam date, the jamb date of 3 July is telling you the date she printed her original slip before she took it to her accomplices to manipulate. Look with your inward eye and see so many errors, her date of birth was also mistaking for the old notification of the Yoruba girl that scored 138 in 2021......that Jamb notification was last used in 2021. She played smart but not entirely smart after all but one thing I hate and dislike so much is that this case is so small that we have wasted so much energy and resources on as Nigerian. So sad. We aren't united at all in this country especially the Eastern side. It's sad, so sad....

I checked the one she posted earlier and her date of birth didnt tally with this
In fact, the examination date was May and not this...I just tire

Really not true? You think embassies don't advise on the location of magic centres?

Why is the ikoyi marriage Centre oversubscribed? Its because the embassies can run checks if they need to.

Why is the IGCSE the fastest growing exam in Nigeria?

Irrespective of whatever may have happened before Jamb has upped its game tech wise and is right to defend its reputation. The fact that it defends itself publicly is not a trade off for any other investigation that may be going on.

You mean they should softpedal after JAMB has done maximum damage and imposed penalties. I can only laugh 😂. This lady will be in School in US while Jamb will be answering to her lawyers, thats the reality.

To your other issue about age, a first time Jamb candidate with the kind of academuc track record of the girl in question will either be 16 or 17 years old. And thats a minor irrespective of your source.
Here age is in the Jamb slip she displayed by herself. 2004.
She can take her fraud to anywhere she wants, if she's not remorseful, she hasn't learn a thing

I pity all of you that's supporting the fraud this girl perpetrated. The age she filled in her jamb form is 19 years, the fake JAMB result she's parading says 16 years. All the phone calls chats that she used to doctor the result is in the hands of JAMB. You have all helped her to be prosecuted because she's of age to face the law. If she's not curbed at her young age, she will be worse than Jezebel

The JAMB registrar is just too petty and immature. Doing a media back and forth show with a secondary school girl.
There are more mature ways of handling this matter than coming to the media to bring the institution to disrepute

What is the business of embassies with magic centres?
That same ikoyi registry is a beehive of corruption yet their certificates are accepted by embassies.

You're right that Jamb has a right to defend itself but they shouldn't have made it a media circus. They should have gotten the girl to come to their office with the result, authenticate, investigate any fraud and those involved, then write to all those who might have offered rewards or scholarships about the fraud (if any).
With what just happened, even if the result is fake and the girl an innocent victim of a syndicate, her image has been tarnished at such young age.
Tact should have been more employed

Motive could be:

1. The prize from the state govt and others. I heard she was awarded 3m by Innoson (she prevented the other anambra girl from getting this).

2. Because she was used to being the first from school (local champion), hence, it's disgrace for her if she scored lesser than 300.
