I am an animal scientist, and my candid advice will be that you shouldn't try poultry right now, the cost of running poultry is currently killing. 10k for a 25kg bag of feed, how's a farmer expected to break even with that? Though I don't know the capacity with which u wanna start, poultry isn't a child's play, particularly if you've not been we'll trained in that area. A single mistake can turn the table against you, and your 10 million is gone into thin air. I'll advise you to consider the relocation to Canada, further your studies and make real money all along.

You no even plan invest for better business. For a starter, that your 10million fit turn 10naira if care is not taken with that your poultry plan.

You're 22, so i would advise starting a business that earns ypu guaranteed income. I would say fish farming but it is hard to maintain but you're guaranteed to get 80-100% profit on every harvest, and you can harvest 3 times a year.

BUT like i said it is hard to maintain.
What you need is something that gets you guaranteed income that even when you travel out, you will still be getting lots of money from it.

The answer to your question is to do both, Leaving the country should be a must, but get a business that gets you guaranteed income. Have a goal (say making 10m yearly) then when you achieve that goal, then japa and start working over there and use proceeds from your hustle to expand your business here.

That is what i am currently doing.

you are at the right age to take this risk -although I have to say that canada is also pretty expensive but I believe if you are focused you can earn a good degree and start a lucrative career.

Travel oh, this is not the time to try poultry business oh, I will advise you travel and focus on building houses that you put for rent as either full rent or short let. The ease of doing business in Nigeria will greatly affect you except you understand the poultry business very well
