grandstar: What is the "economic crisis" that nigeria is facing that required Tinubus "shock therapy"? What is the slow and steady approach? According to you...."Government such as Lebanon, Pakistan, Argentina and even Italy would wish they had Tinubu's power to bring about such change within their own countries"? How can there be "Government such as Lebanon, Pakistan, Argentina and even Italy"? Which power does Tinubu have and where did he get d power? why will "Government such as Lebanon, Pakistan, Argentina and even Italy" wish they had that power? How did you come to the conclusion that subsisdy was 20% of nigerias budget? What was wrong with that? Was fuel Subsidy responsible for this: "debt servicing was higher than government revenue"? If you say that "The end of both subsidies should have been years ago", then pls answer the following: Before previous governments started removing subsisdy, what was the percentage on each litre of fuel they were paying as subsidy? With each subsequent removal, what percentage on a litre of fuel was being paid as subsisdy and what did that amount to in total? Which subsidy did Mele Kyari say was totally removed in 2020? Which subsisdy on petrol did Tinubu now remove in 2023? What percentage on each litre of fuel was nigeria paying on each litre of fuel before may 29, 2023 and was the total? 7 Likes |

Terrible. Tinubu supporters on nairaland are still living in denial that "it takes a broken egg to make a omelet" until common egg and omelet become food for the elite...and people resort to eating edible and non-edible leaves like animals upsetting the food chain. The unpleasant domino effect of an evil administration is far-reaching. Tinubu is most unfit to lead. His leadership model in Lagos of agberocracy is as much a disaster as it is on a national scale. 2 Likes |

He voted for his choice, it's a pity he is not getting the services he had hoped for and I feel for his children who are paying for his mistakes. I don't blame him for voting who he believed would change the country for good because from all indications, he might not have collected money to vote. He voted based on merits, in his own opinion. Saying if it continues like this, he will stop voting is wrong though. |

That yeye man is complaining that we don't have good representation. We will have good representation the moment we have good voters. The people that voted APC are the illiterate ones. That someone goes to college doesn't mean he is literate. Who he votes for as his leader speaks volume. 4 Likes |
