What I meant is that your can plead with the officials to pay at a later date but over there you will be disconnected. By the way, I use a prepaid meter

Reason why people go abroad and no one comes to Nigeria for vacation ..

you can give your own advice, you don't need to quote me. It solely depends on the op to choose what he thinks it's right.

Build an investment portfolio and manage it well...could run into billions if properly done.
You can afford any life you want in nigeria and you will never come in contact with the problems of the average person if you organise well plus I’m sure your side hustle is untaxed.
Na people wey no get leg for naija dey run. The country is for sale and you can buy a huge chunk of it once you have the money.
Just plan to move as far away from the lowlifes as possible and bracket your life to only stretch as far as places that are environmentally secure you go enjoy Nigeria WELLA.
Could run into billions. Says person wey no fit maintain ordinary POS business. E sweet for mouth. Same business wey Otedola say he almost commit su!c!de untop.

Reason why people go abroad and no one comes to Nigeria for vacation ..

Use your brain
Na ignorance dey worry most of them.

Many Nigerians abroad now prioritize real vacation instead of that "patriotism-driven" so-called enjoyment in the midst of many entitled sufferheads in Nigeria. By real vacation, I mean Carribean, European & similar cruise trips and also all-inclusive or regular destination trips to nice globally acclaimed locations.

What people face in our airports alone is enough to say goodbye to the mess.

There are different classes of Investment not just asset trading.
The maintenance of any business lies in long term availability of cash capital.
If you need 6m to start a business you should have ATLEAST 30m in cash to support that business, split quaterly over the next 5 years (which is usually the time when most businesses fail) putting your ALL into a business at the start is recipe for failure.
Money only respects planning and calculation not projection and speculation.

What % of Otedola’s Capital was invested in the said business? Complacency is the worst enemy of success. If you want to kill yourself when any business fails you’re overinvested in that business...and if it’s not your brainchild or a business you nurtured from the start that is production based and patented you’re very wrong for throwing all your money at it because you are not in control of its success or failure.

A person with 2million available capital shouldn’t start any business that needs more than 10% = 200k.
“Nowhere” is not an honest projection.
Impatience is the bane of many that don’t understand the numbers game.

Run away from here!!! Is anything stopping you from continuing your remote job when you change location?

Only two categories of people are not leaving Nigeria for a better life outside any time soon.

1. Those who have been feeding from it.

2. Those who do not have the opportunity yet.
If I have the options I will still chose 9ja over Japa.

If you patronize Nigeria and put your money where your mouth is more than I have done in my life then you have done very well for yourself. I don't blame any "our leaders", the leaders are from the pool of the masses. If you on Nairaland become one today, I expect nothing different. I will gladly spend my vacation anywhere I feel, Africa or elsewhere. Caribbean countries are not white people's land bro.

Leaving Nigeria is not about money,is also about the security of your life,do you how many people who have the whole money in Nigeria yet get killed by nonentities for no reason reason, abeg who get the means should leave, things are not ease in this country
You are very wrong on this one. Insecurity is one of the flimsiest excuse to japa from Nigeria. Let me shock you, do you know that more people are killed daily in the streets of Chicago alone than the whole of Nigeria despite all this our security challenges? Infact you are safer on the streets of Lagos than in anywhere in the US for instance.
