Republic001: Yes but the problem you might will be at POE. Let's say the visa comes out when your September program has started. What do you do? What do you explain to them at POE that you are coming in after your program has started. Ask your school if your program can be started online pending when you get approval. With this you have plausible explanation to give the immigration guys at POE. Then also, you still have the option of continuing the current program or switching to the January intake which might not be necessary. 2 Likes |

Gurus in the house please, I need you to come to my aid. I got a request letter from the IRCC today, and they have given me 15 days to respond. May 2022, I came in contact with a woman who said she is a visa agent. So, we got talking and I made initial payment to her. But along the line, I saw that she was fraudulent and was not doing anything about my application. After 5 moths of waiting and not even going for biometrics, I requested for a refund and told her I was backing out. Today, I just got a message from the IRCC that there was a charge back on the account used in making payment for that particular application fee and so, I'm indebted to the commission. Now, I have no idea about how that has happened. They have also asked me to make a new payment of 185 CAD, and also explain why there was a charge back on the account with proof and evidence. All these, I must do within 15 days. Again, they said if don't do this within 15 days, my application may be refused and it may be seen as as misrepresentation. They also mentioned that I should explain why I did not declare my representative by signing a representative form signifying that I have authorised an agent to act on my behalf. Please, I need your help to be able to respond to this appropriately. Many thanks. 2 Likes |

Good morning everyone I want to also ask this question. I'm going to Canada with a sponsorship from my uncle's company starting that the company is sponsoring my education and other living expenses, with a promotion letter attached that I will be promoted once I come back to Nigeria after my graduate program. Now my question is, I want to know if after the graduate program I can stay more in Canada and go for nursing program as in a bachelor's degree in nursing being that I do not have any nursing cert. Just aux. Nursing cert. From the hospital I practiced with. Thanks |

Republic001: If you start online, you can enter Canada and still continue the September intake and don't have to defer or start the Jan intake of the new school. 1 Like |

I'm really considering between using an agent and doing it myself, I have been reading and following up here and I barely see people use agent, please advise me, the agent is a popular one from nairaland but his fees are very high |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Inikay: 11:17am On Jul 27, 2023 |
PeridotK9: I used agent but not from nairaland and I got approval at first application. It depends,if you are not too busy you can do it yourself it's not a big deal.you can ask questions here and check YouTube videos. |

Aghoghomena: Hi Aghogho, Despite your withdrawal, it is clear the agent put in an application for you and went to initiate a chargeback claim on the application fee, instances such as this, it is very delicate to fashion a response, but I will try to offer some suggestions. 1. Pay the application fee that is being requested with your own card or a trusted person's card. 2. You need to tell them that you requested for assistance for the payment of the application fee when you could not use your card due to Fx restrictions and that the card holder had confirmed to you that payment had been and that the fact the application was transmitted convinced you that the payment was duly paid, but that you have paid the fee now to show that you did not deliberately decide to pay for the application. 3. You can also claim that you did not appoint anyone to act on your behalf, that you only had, an advisory relationship with the person, who was advising you on how to put in your application, that at no point did you appoint anyone to act as your rep. You can develop this and hope for the best. Please also wait for other member's pitch. You can also search on the closed thread for some people who had this same issue. 14 Likes 1 Share |

Good afternoon house, my cousin was trying to use the tracker and this message appeared Incorrect or invalid information. Review and make sure it matches the information submitted on the Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] form or the Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual [IMM 5475] form. If you can’t create an account, it may be because your client’s application is not in our system yet. What is the problem ? and how can we solve it ? |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by zubizareta(m): 1:31pm On Jul 27, 2023 |
PeridotK9: You can do it yourself. Alot of ppl here have done it themselves. It's basically writing the sop and attach all necessary supporting documents which you will get most guidance here. You can write the sop and get someone here to review or get someone to write it for you. That's it basically. No much big deal there if you think you can do it yourself if orderly guided 2 Likes |

Ishoba:You need to first enroll as a student in your school in Nova Scotia. Then inform ircc using their website by uploading both LOAs from old and new schools and other required docs. I sent you a mail, pls check 1 Like |

I just thought of putting it here if I could get a place or anyone I can put up with for about a week around Toronto, Scarborough, while I source for my own space as soon as I arrive. I'm a guy btw Thanks so much and God bless you 🙏 |

Bobomaigida: Boss thank God you responded bcs I actually tried reaching you. Let me give you more clew about what happened. When I discovered that this lady was trying to scam me after waiting for 5 months, I had to petition her at the Area Command, and the police subsequently approached the court seek for the freezing of her account. It was then that she started saying that I should allow her Start the process. But I refused since I no longer had confidence in what she was saying. So, she later made the refunds, and we approached the court again to release her account. So, I do not even understand at what point she made the application and even going to initiate a charge back. I have gone to the Area Command today to obtain all those documents, both the my statement, my petition, the court orders freezing and unfreezing the account. My question is, can I use these documents to prove anything? Pls, can I email you? Or talk to you over the phone? Pls... 1 Like |
