lexy2014: What is the difference between a toothless dog and a sheep? ECOWAS that have military intervention force (ECOMOG) but failed to reinstate the ousted president of Niger is like a lion playing with it's prey, When a venomous snake loses what makes it a snake (venom) children will use it to tie stick. |

Yes, ECOWAS is for west Africa, but we know ECOWAS and AU are one the same, so if by calling out ECOWAS, AU gets memo, that's fine. Goodman2023: |

mrvitalis: At least you agree that Burkina and Mali coups were because of tenure elongation.why was bazoum not removed immediately like bongo? People just use the election as a pretext to remove the bongo family. The summary is that coup cannot happen in Nigeria at least not after just 3 months.why was there no coup after the rigging by obj? All the units in and around Abuja are under loyallists of tinubu, you can check the appointment he made after appointing service chiefs. There is no perfect election anywhere.you cannot condemn election because of a few pockets of incidences. |

fairplay90: Those Africa countries are freeing themselves from the clutches of Western power. That's what going on. One family rule Gabon for more than 50 years. The son the President for 14 years (2009-2023). His father, Omar Bongo was the President for 42 years (1967-2009). All French puppet. https://twitter.com/AfricaFactsZone/status/1696768493893382289?t=MtP_2WlKsYySUZYQC11x-w&s=19 |

Gradually, revolution is coming and people think it's a joke. I blame the western world for all these happenings. When they connived and supported the Elimination of some African leaders like Idi Amin of Uganda, Charles Taylor of Liberia, Sani Abacha of Nigeria and Muammar Gaddafi of Libya, thinking they were becoming overbearing. Little did they know it would back fire. Now, Russia and China are indirectly coming for their own recolonization and if care is not taken, it could result in WW3. Until America, Britain and France publicly condenm the democratic coup going on in Africa in both words and actions, more of this will continue to come. 1 Like |
