GoodNews for the likes of Graham Hansen, Ingrid Engen and Co…

Hege Riise has announced that she is stepping down from her position as the national team coach of Norway.
However, the 54-year-old will not be leaving the federation; instead, she will be taking up another role within it.

Did you guys watch the Barcelona game against Tigress 🐯

Omoooor…. Asisat Oshoala have started again with her terrible Missing😢

She supposed score at least Hat trick if she had converted 45% of those Chances..

I'll be surprised if they renew her contract. Now that Geyse has gone, this will be the time for her to cement her place, but this misses aren't helping her case.

I'll be surprised if Barca doesn't sign a striker before the window closes.

She's even gotten worse. I was cringing while watching her miss those chances this morning. It was so disgraceful to watch. Chai.

You know the kind of embarrassment you will see and you will be feeling embarrassed amd ashamed on the person's behalf.

Barca twitter was just wailing this morning.

I wish I could dig out my posts from last season. Been saying this repeatedly. I even remember recommending she gets a special coach who will help her work on this. At this level of her professional career she shouldn't be missing simple chances.

Former Nigeria Youth International Defender Maureen Umeh (aka Nigeria Wendie Renard) says Goodbye to France🇫🇷 D2 Clubside US Saint Malo

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 4:35pm On Sep 02, 2023
Maureen UMEUGOCHUKWU 21yrs

A Right-Footed CB, who also can fill in as fullback. A good ball Progressor, both in Carrying and Passing.

Also a dangerous threat in the air in attacking set pieces. With lot of experience after Playing for Adana Idmanyurduspor club in the Turkish 1st division 🇹🇷 & there in 🇫🇷.

She masters 1v1 situations better than most centre-backs.

We heard the same story from u guys last season but she ended up as the team’s leading scorer. This is a preseason match we are talking about.

Guy Calm down, why are you defending her on this even though it’s Preseason, everyone want the best for herself as she’s our own..

I don’t think you even watch this game because if you do you won’t be here saying this,..

What did I say to u for u to tell me to calm down? Where u guys not complaining about her finishing last season? How did that turn out We all watched the world cup and no striker is automatic. Even in the men's game, strikers miss easy chances.

Just 20 seconds into this highlight, she's already better than Demehin in Confidence, composure on and off the ball, ball retention, progression and carrying. Unlike Demehin who treats the ball on her feet like hot Potatoes 😂😂😂😂

Anywho, let me continue watching to see what she does with positioning and defensive actions...I shall return with a verdict expeditiously... 😂😂

We’re waiting especially me…. By the way she’s just 21yrs, same age as Demehin and have been part of the U17/U20 set up before

She’s currently with another 🇫🇷D2 Clubside but hasn’t been unveiled yet but they’re Currently in Spain 🇪🇸 for Preseason..!

This is too funny - una go wait taya!
Someone just played all minutes for Nigeria in the most difficult world cup and performed exceptionably well. More than held her own.
This was her very first senior national competition and she was rock solid. Against 3 teams ranked as top ten (10) women teams in world football.

Yet, someone here is trying to tell us that this neophyte playing in D2 of the French league is better than her? I mean, seriously?
Why do Nigerians like to continuously delude ourselves?

There is a reason why the girl is playing in the French D2, She is not good enough! Pure and simple! let us know when she is able to hold her own in a competitive league.
Until then, abeg, make man see road, pls!

Whaoooo, the Word you went straight with is she isn’t good enough🥹… And the major reason was because she still Play in D2 in France.

I expected a better opinion from you, anyways i will wait for your assessment whenever you’re done watching her play.

wow...cement her place? someone that has been back to back top scorer for the team. the only hiccups she had was caused by injury. She has been a vert integral part....in fact a dominant part of the team.

The kind of opinions on this thread can be stupendously funny...laced with biases and prejudice
