This is actually very poor. So in a year just about 800billion not even up to $1billion. And thats for 20million residents. Very poor!!
Not enough to do much. Atleast should be around $20 billion

When last did you visit that your leper colony village in Osuland ?

I think you need to go back and reconnect with your roots instead of complaining of governance in a foreign land.

Because Nigerians and the federal government invested there heavily. Why are you mentioning SE in particular? Why not compare Lagos with every other states in Nigeria.

Lagos is paying 500k workers while FGN is paying 700k. Lagos governor and Nigerian President are peers and I have said it years ago that Lagos may soon surpass the FG and the Lagos governor will becone the most important person in the country by bukata and etc. However the combination of Ogun and Oyo best Lagos in everything including population, industries amd IGR potential but they are not ready to do the work yet.

Lagos state has to be very bullish now in their approach towards market structure and policies. They should create a level playing field for micro and macro enterprenuers to thrive (as suggested by the American expert/politician at the business school) and thus encourage foreign investors and manufacturing firms into its fold.
We must find a quick but efficient and lasting way to permanently navigate from a consuming economy to a PRODUCTIVE one.
The amount of IGR generated isn't so bad though but to be honest, Lagos should be doing better.
MAY GOD continue to bless Lagos state

So Nigerians particularly SEasterners and FG didn't invest in SE at all?

No be money them dey share every month?

Because SE has been trying hard to conquer Lagos while preserving their territories!

Lagos is bigger to be compared to states. Lagos is only comparable to geopolitical zones!

Move your SE traders to your deserted SE and see the difference in the IGR.
