They cannot keep him. They have too many young guards who they need to give playing time

Jrue could just replace Dame in that starting lineup and play alongside Anfernee. The rest can be coming off the bench like they did when Dame was there. But I guess Jrue is the one who doesn't want to be there.

I cant believe how happy I am for giannis - this could work out really well

More offensive firepower. But they'll take a hit defensively in that guard position.

Definitely did not see this one coming. Riley's hubris will ultimately be responsible for the Heat not landing Dame

Would be interesting to see how their perimeter defense holds up even though their interior defense would be the best in the league.

Ultimately with this trade Giannis must now be completely locked in. Offensively Dame should make his game even easier, can't build no walls anymore and Dame is a significant offensive upgrade on Jrue.

Funny enough at the All star game Dame was Giannis first selection and even LeGypsy was questioning why Jrue was not his first pick. Maybe there was a clue there we didn't pick.

There's talk of Jrue ending up with the Sixers but it's clear the Bucks wanted to avoid giving him a 200m+ extension and that's with rumors Jrue might be retiring at the end of his deal

Anyway a month till season starts

The defensive hit they'll take Will be worth it in the end. They just need to plug in a defensive Shooting guard in that position and they are good to go.

Nia Long, you told us in Spring of this year that you have moved on so please act like u have moved on!

Shaming Udoka on SM and calling the lady by name now isn't going to change anything.

Worsestill, denying him access to his son because of what happened even makes u look worse.

Lmao. Woman tell you say she move on and you believe? You no watch Acrimony?

Woman can only move on for two reasons. Either you no make am and she has no use for you anymore

or

She found a better man

The minute she leaves you for dead and you come out shining and rising up, forget it. she will cast you, drag you and embarrass you in public and that goes for any woman but especially black women. She no send if it will hurt her or hurt the child. She will raise rebellious kids that will fight you in public when they're grown I mean just look at Boosie, 50's son.

If she knew an NBA team would still hire him I'm almost certain she wouldn't have left

Depends on how you look at it. When you look at the struggles the Bucks tend to have had in the last two seasons I can't for sure say I entirely agree if you're adding Dame to the equation

The difference maker for Jrue used to be on the defensive end but he got absolutely scorched by Jimmy.

Durability is the bigger problem here cos Dame has been quite prone to injuries lately.

I just think Dame's arrival takes the scoring load off Giannis so much that Giannis can now focus on being a lockdown defender whether at the rim or the perimeter thus making him more efficient as a scorer

The only thing that can make this trade not worth it in the end is Dame's health. You are basically pairing the League's second best shooter with Adetokunbo. Only Steph would have made this deal better. I don't think people realise how abysmal Jrue's half court offense is. Dude literally shot under 40%(with a few under 30% games thrown in) from the field multiple times during the last 2 playoffs and yes even during their title winning season.

Ahh yes. This part often gets glossed over Jrue I've never considered a natural scorer and thus whenever Giannis gets bogged down and Jrue has to become a volume scorer he's almost always inefficient.

In these tight games he's almost always going to go 7/24 or 4 of 19.

Broussard said something on First things First and it kinda made a lot of sense

If you're the Celtics do you consider making a push for Jrue? An older but instant improvement on Marcus Smart, better at Point guard cos he's a true point. Less pressure on Brown and Tatum and has Championship winning pedigree

We are amongst the teams interested and actively pitching for Jrue. Brodgan is unhappy because of the trade that fell through earlier that involved Porz. Brodgan is going to be a piece if we succeed in getting Jrue.

The Bucks getting Dame doesn’t really bother me to be honest because while they get better offensively, they lose a lot defensively, especially from the top.

I think a guy like Jrue is exactly who you guys need. Brogdon is not a needle mover. Even if you overlook the injuries he's just not someone that influences title winning basketball

I think you should be bothered about the Bucks getting Dame primarily because Giannis now absolutely no longer needs to focus on halfcourt offense especially late in games, he can just hand the keys to Dame to take them home. No need to worry about getting fouled or anything.

Jrue did a horrendous job of guarding Jimmy anyway but more importantly they have Jae Crowder to guard the perimeter, the upside if Dame pans out definitely beats what Jrue has to offer as far as scoring in bunches

Yes sir, like I predicted. Brogdan will be the center piece but adding TimeLord to the deal just hurts. We are giving way too much for a 33 year old.

Jrue also shot around 28% from 3s, with a lot of them being open looks. The Bucks half-court offense was abysmal this past 2 seasons when Giannis is not trying to get a shot. The number of options a Giannis/Dame PnR alone will elevate their half-court offense. Also, in half-court situations Dame will now get to enjoy the luxury of shooting open look 3s from a kickout, whenever defenses collapse on a Giannis drive

For Jrue… Outside of Brogdan being disgruntled, we got a player in Jrue that can help with better coordination, control of the pace, flow and spacing of the guards. He is not expected to put up heavy points each night.

TimeLord’s trade had to happen because floor spacing will be problem with Porz and TimeLord. Porz is more of a PF than a C.

It was a no brainer. You know I posted this should be considered as well by your team

TimeLord had to go. You already have a logjam of bigs with Porzingis and Horford, plus TimeLord despite his injury record for me is the more important piece even more than Brogdon

Now I would argue y'all are the favorites in the East maybe the entire league self

Bruhhh and we are also forgetting Khris in this equation. Not having to be the second option on offense is perfect for Him. Assuming everyone is fit, you are going to see a few more 40points game from Him with how open He'd be.

I was going to say I still have the Bucks as slight favourites in the East then I had a look at both teams again, injury notwithstanding I think you’re right.
