European courts have indicted dictators and other leaders. A European court could indict Obama for knowingly arming ISIS. I think you are right in the sense of a conviction in political terms. But in the constitution, section 3 didn't say anything about a conviction. Though with this charged and volatile political climate, a conviction would certainly bolster the disqualification.

I did think the due process issue gave the court enough pause/rational to deny it. That being said, I want to see how the Supreme Court deals with the actual words of the insurrection clause in the Constitution(as Obrigardo mentioned) when they hand down the ruling.

Glad this judge did this. I think thumbing your nose at a congressional subpoena should mean heavy consequences. I think he still got off light but glad he js forced to go directly to jail unlike Bannon.

Robert Hur came out with his report on Biden's classified document. He is declining to prosecute. My issue is the extraneous language in the report. Seems similar to Comey 2.0 and a variation from Mueller's report. I think Merrick Garland is by far the weakest Attorney General of any President by far.
