The era of fx gains for banks will certainly continue, atleast in q1 2024 as the naira continue to fall in price.
Seplat should increase their $ valuation for dividend as well.

We don't know the position of the persons seeking to join the suit on delistment of Oando. They may or may not be against the delistment.

The persons seeking to join the suit are against the delisting of Oando, according documents filed in court.
They are challenging the original suit by Venus Construction and 13 others, as well as the Court order to Oando to submit a Scheme of Arrangement to that effect.
Whether delisting or not, what matters is for shareholders to make profit on their investments at the end of the whole saga.

I heard that matters that are still in court should not be discussed.i advised that we should stop discussing anything that concerns oando in our own interest because judgement is not coming anytime soon. grin

Any investor who believes OANDO Plc would not be delisted is living in a lost paradise.
The body language, the action speaks in favour of imminent delisting.
# "Stop Jubril Adewale Tinubu from swallowing our OANDO plc" on all media.
NSEMPA are too quiet and optimistic on this OANDO issue.
Let your # tag speaks 4u

You may have a very good point.
But the hash tag (#) on a million social media cannot really make a big difference.
What can either help to stop, amend or ensure equity and fairness in what is going on in Oando can only be through the Court and SEC by way of official petitions by concerned real shareholders.
If the Court really wants to ensure that the right thing is done, it should just instruct Venus Construction and the 13 others to engage Oando management for buyout of their shares and leave the rest minority shareholders out of their quest for delisting. But I am suspecting that the Court is providing leeway to Oando with the numerous adjournments

@dayjeee I guess you don't understand how it works. Investment One and any brokerage firm can't charge more than the regulatory fees, it's automated as stipulated by the regulators. They strictly operate in compliance with the rule of engagement in the capital market. I'm sure they can never charge you that much. No transaction gets up to a 10% charge on any consideration.
Please be well guided.
I am sorry, I think my assertion was wrong. I had to go and check my balance again and its not up to that. Thank you
Thank you.

Please for a month now, I've been trying to place orders with Meristem and I keep getting "Trading Account Suspended" Error. I had reached out to them via support desk and they initially said I needed to updated KYC so they can updated my account with CSCS. I filled the form and sent back and they reverted it issue is fixed.

But till now am still getting same error. I've reached back to them and they said they are following up with CSCS.

Please does anyone have any ideas how else I can get this sorted?

Of what benefits are the adjournments for OandO if it really wants to buy out Oando minority shareholders at N7.07? The excessive delay is not a plus but a negative in many ways for Wale if he wants to buy out.
