My wife sells indomie in cartons, she usually buy hundred of cartons but recently I got to her shop and noticed no single carton of indomie and I asked why? She said the price is disheartening ,a carton is about 19k she is just confused, but come to think of it, some retailers are something else, how can someone buy a carton of indomie for 19 or 20k and sell 1 pack for 1k, a carton of super pack indomie has 40 packs and u said her prices are ok. Abi u no hear well

I said it before sir. Apart from the government, retailers are also the problem.

Collective stupidity? No. There are many Nigerians who don't deserve the Collective thing. Ethno-religious bigots are responsible.
GENESIS: after Muhammadu Buhari's 2001 declaration in Kaduna that he would not relent until Islamic sharia criminal laws are applied in all the states of Nigeria, he became a political icon for too many people in the far north sharia criminal laws states. He started to win millions and millions of votes in the sharia states; sotay, Bola Ahmed Tinubu saw Buhari as a possible ally to achieve Tinubu's presidential ambition.
The ethno-religious bigots among the electorate and in INEC, wouldn't look back as they used every possible avenue to keep the Tinubu/Buhari alliance ontop, notwithstanding the level of poverty the alliance was inflicting upon Nigerians and Nigeria.

Good a thing there are people who know the genesis of Nigeria's present economic problems. And yes, it is painful that others suffer as a result of other Nigerians decisions.

A lady I know who hails from one of our neighboring countries in Africa but lives here in Nigeria was lamenting seriously about how the economy of Nigeria has crumbled.. In her words, Nigeria used to be the best economy in Africa at a time but has now turned to the worst performing in the space of few years.

Ghanians, Togolese, Cameroonians etc. saw Nigeria like United States back then with a lot of opportunities but story has changed today due to bad leadership, corrupt masses and greedy retailers and business owners.. It's as if they are stockpiling wealth here on earth to build mansions in heaven, even religious leaders are cashing out through gullibility of our people.

I hope the country gets restructured soon enough.. if the country must remain as one, then the non-progressives should not hold progressive thinkers down South to ransom with insecurity, kidnapping, banditry and whatnot.

Interesting to know that you did not blame Igbos this time. I wondered what changed.

Humans are meant to complain! Complain at every situation. There’s no such things as basic things in Nigeria. Nigerians don’t appreciate thr values of whatever they have until they lose it.

We have always heard how life was beautiful in the 70s towards 80s. Yet, all the songs that were sung then emphasized how bad the situation was.

Life was better than now during Objs, yara’dua and Goodluck Jonathan. What did people do? Complain like a woman whose husband didnt come home last night.

How would they value the goodness when it comes if they don’t go through this phase?

If everything was sweet the moment Tinubu came in, I bet most people would still be crying and complaining especially, the online criers. Everyone will be alright at last

But unfortunately from day one, no sweetness in this administration. Hardship, hunger and heat.

Plz can someone tell the flat heads to keep quiet forever, shebi dem dey talk say Tinubu dey favour them, why dem com dey make noise for my hears na.
Imagine how far we could have gone if we came out with the force that far exceeds ENDSARS, awon ode nfarawe Obi cubana ati Ohaneze ti won gba ope. I used to think my brothers from southeast were smart, it's in recent times i knew that they're only business smart, not much difference from aboki and the tribe i hate to be familiar with. Let's see wether dem go get sense later sha

You mean the same ENDSARS where Igbos were accused of burning and ransacking the Oba of Lagos Palace? The same Igbos who were wrongly accused of "burning Lagos"? You suddenly want the "flat heads" to participate in the protests, yet you term the same people "my brothers"?

Anyway, I am not surprised by the tribalism as humans are tribal. Just that when poor people are tribalistic, it looks disgusting to me. Nevertheless, I am glad Igbos, especially young ones and even woke ones, finally understand Nigeria for what it is RATHER than what they foolishly thought it was by staying off any protest.

I buy directly from where the car that supplies them. B

So, the seller shouldn't have capital and eke a profit to purchase the next stock? The seller would not pay rent and staff?

Who do Nigerians this thing of not understanding elementary economics for crying out loud?!

You know how Igbo people like their food rock solid, I thought it would taste exactly like moimoi except that it was hard. I found out the composition and taste are completely different. Very disgusting something

Assuming the president was from south south or south east and this thing is happening, Yoruba people and Hausa people would have let loose hell on the president and his people to the point of harming those set of people, now it is their person incharge and they are doing as if it is a normal thing for people to be subjected to hardship. We all know what they did to gej, history will never be kind to whosoever was against gej but now pretending as if nothing is wrong. This has made me realized that the people of south south and southeast are the most accommodating zone in Nigeria. Yoruba people or Hausa people will never endure this assuming the president was from east or south south.
Victim mentality again. Who attacked South South people when we cried about increment of food items during his tenure?

The poster did not even mention he is yoruba but somehow you have to smuggle yoruba in. Is Hunger synonymous to yoruba?
Where in my post is Yoruba mentioned? Return to the posts above to quote the person you wanted to quote again.

But the Yorubas are the ones talking the loudest against Tinubu, their son.

There have been protests in Ibadan and Ekiti, even Lagos. But whenever they talk the others(Ibos especially) will laugh at them and call them Ebinpawa. SEBI there's no hunger in SE and SW.
Story, that is eye service protest. What have your eye service protest stop? Has the protest change the price of garri or rice? We all saw the way you guys protested during gej. My happiness is that you guys are reaping what you sow
