Emmanuel Dennis since his return to Watford:

👤 6 starts
⚽ 4 goals

Finding his rhythm 🤙🏽

I'd rather he was recalled to the SE than Ejuke

Dennis a very good player with ego and attitude, nothing more so coaches find such players difficult to deal with.Don’t be surprised seeing him fallen out with Watford management before the end of the season.

Both have different applications and or uses.

Dennis is a player who understands defending from the front, he does that better than all our strikers. He is a player that likes to win, he carries Osimhen kind of vibes. He is a fantastic dribbler. He seems to have redefined himself especially in the striker role.

However his passing, holding on to the ball, are areas he needs to work on, those deficiencies limits his role as a winger, but he excels well as a striker.

it doesn't matter,July is not far,
even if it means sacrifice going to to the next world cup as long as we get a good tactician.
With Renard we stand good chance of winning one AFCON and qualifying for WC within five years.
hmmm. Sacrifice what? Two consecutive world cup appearances. No way. He should concentrate on his Olympics. There are other coaches that can do the job.

Yeah, I see him more like a sub for Lookman
Not necessarily a winger

Unfortunately, we play politics with almost everything in naija
Appoint a coach make the guy start work, NFF is moving like snail
Serious nations aleeady settled their Head Coach issues
We are still here playing
I wonder why this happens all the time

I said it earlier that most of our wingers will not start at Royal Antwerp because of how Royal Antwerp likes to play.

Royal Antwerp is a team that loves to keep possession of the ball especially in the opposition's half. To achieve this you need as one of the requirements: wingers who are not limited in their passing and can keep the ball. With the exception of Ejuke none of our wingers meets the aforementioned criteria. This is nothing but the truth.

It is only in the striker role that we have depth, we don't really have excellent wingers. We have wingers who can only dribble and shoot, but what happens when the opposition seats too deep and uses zonal marking, you will require tactical wingers who are not limited in their passing to break down the opposition.

Stuff is we only look at players from the angle of the league they play in.
We don't consider playing pattern and tactics.
Olisah ndah for example can interprete possession and passing than most of our defenders but we will not agree because he is in South Africa.
There are also many issues like that. The coach that will succeed with nigeria will make very strange decisions that will work. Sodiq is mail of remo stars may be better at crossing than most of our wingers.
The coach that will succeed with Nigeria will first be hated by everybody. He may put akinsanmiro and samson tijani in midfield with moffi in attack.
It will happen soon when we get tired of drawing 1 2 with Mozambique.
Our most recognised players are overrated and don't fit into certain tactical formations but people will not heat

If any one bothered to watch David Okereke for Torino before the international break, you will know we have a ready and better goal scoring replacement for Moses Simon. He played that wing beautifully for Torino.

I was surprised to see him come back to WATFORD. I believe chief amongst the reasons Watford took him back is because he agreed to a massive pay cut (reportedly 80%). Watford were happy to sell him to Nottingham Forest cause he was reportedly disruptive in the dressing room. They were happy to see him go. Same attitude issue got him out of Nottingham even though they need his talent.

What beautiful thing did he do on the wing with zero dribbles.

Messi has never had a beautiful game with less than 3 dribbles completed, Okereke didn't have attempt one.

Are you aware

there are other countries vying for Renard's services, Poland, South Korea, Cameroon, and Nigeria have emerged as prominent contenders.

Additionally, there is speculation that Morocco could also express interest in Renard should Walid Regragui vacate his managerial post.

Shouldn't we rather concentrate on using what we have?

Lol, this is the problem with some football fans. Dribbling doesn't correlate with productivity as a winger in this modern football era. Kindly see screenshots of recent games of Salah (the current 2nd best winger in the world, after Mbappe). In all 4 games Salah was one of the best rated players yet he had 0 completed dribbles. A winger who creates more and offers more goal threat is better than a shaku-shaku dribbler like Doku et al. I hope people learn to understand football better to avoid a scenario of equating overall football talent to dribbling talent.

Some Nigerian Fans who may be upset has urged Finidi George not consider Super Eagles job after Nigerian loss to Mali in the friendly match, questioning his tactics that led him not to play the likes of Sadiq Umar, Alhassan Yusuf, Nathan Tella and Dele-Bashiru stating that friendly match are supposed to be use to test new players and see the value that the can bring to team in the future.

Another adaded, We complained about Peseiro's stubbornness in rotating his squad and using other players. It seems as though Finidi also picked up that trait from him.
