Who's talking about Lagos? I'm talking about leadership in Nigeria and Africa as a whole and there poor decision making. How a leader will prefer a Brewery factory to an IPP. Yet you guys are justifying such
Education is really a big deal to you lot. Lagos has 2 breweries, ibadan has, ogun has 2 breweries generating revenue. How many Ipp has ogun past givernors built? How many has oyo state built? Why haven't you told the ogun and oyo state government to chase away or sell the breweries and build power plants instead.

Did Lagos and Ogun State government put in State funds in these Breweries? What are you like this?

Obi does not have any futuristic ideas about governance beyond what his 17th century borehole typifies. His idea of governance doesn't go beyond building basic roads, paying teachers salaries, maintaining general hospitals etc. He does not have visionary ideas. That's why if you look at Anambra you cannot point to anything he initiated and consolidated by his successors. Just an average gov. He might be a decent gov but decency alone does not cut it, it can't put food on the table, create jobs, energise the economy. Obi depended on importation business all his life. How many jobs did he create either as a gov or private citizen?
does ur present president have it

These are fact materials that would be used against Pitobi in 2027.

2027 campaign will sweet die. Make Tinubu just ensure that the PH refinery is working and Dangote is equally complementing with his private refinery.

Nigeria is in the hand of the right person, we trust Tinubu judgement and his ideas.
To the Okute yes daddy family, by the time Reno is done with your demigod, those statue Okorocha built in Owerri will command more respect than your Gbajue Peter Obi

OGA hope you get steady power supply with all these IPPs mentioned here, and what I don't understand is, how Tinubu and Fashola take him hand do the project when they're governors at different times?

Oh. I thiught Tinubus economic policy was driving businesses to extinction, with thousands losibg their jobs. I didnt know that a certain beer company was still doing well and employing thousands of workers. Kudos to Tinubu in that case.

Yeah, I'm sure majority of people will agree with you that the standard of living has vast improved under Tinubu..............

IPPs are not built to service citizens, but to service key government infrastructures (like street lights, etc) and key government facilities (like hospitals, etc.)

if Obi was really for productivity, at least one IPP to service Nnewi industrial sector would have enhanced productivity.

Rather, the dull Obi could only invest in a brewery. And yet, some blind Nigerians want this outdated man to be president.

God forbid!

The point is that Obi should have built an IPP rather than invest in a brewery.

For a man like Obi who claims he wants to move Nigeria from consumption to production, it is embarrassing that he did not do it when he was governor of a little part of Nigeria.

Anambra has potential. Nnewi, for example, is a manufacturing hub.

An IPP to service Nnewi industrial sector would have enhanced productivity. Imagine the benefit of an IPP to a company like Inoson?

But Obi chose to invest in reckless consumption (a brewery).

Anyone who still refuses to see through Obi's charade can never be wise again.

His antecedents is enough evidence that this man will wreck Nigeria if he ever nears the seat of government.

Wrong my brother. If leadership is majorly about integrity or righteousness then American would be electing religious leaders among them. Leadership is more about people with the best ideas and not most righteousness. You know why? Ideas give birth to the best infrastructures. All the recent American presidents were not focused on morality but idealistics. If it were morality or righteousness as you insinuate then Trump wouldn't have been elected president. He was elected because of his ideas. Same for Bush, Clinton, Obama and Biden. These are people of ideas and not dummies.
No. Leadership must be tailored to the context of each society. What is our number one problem? Leaders with no values. Leaders who only concern themselves with what they can get from the treasury. So, we would want those who would place national interests above theirs.
Your mistake is thinking that being religious equates having integrity. That's not true. A religious person can lack integrity and vice versa.
Just get a leader who is not interested in stealing and see the progress we'll make within a short period.
We don't need the best infrastructure, whatever that means. We just need infrastructure. Good roads, power, healthcare etc. You don't need any grand ideas to make those happen. You only need to be willing.
Also, what visionary ideas were the people you mentioned elected for? Use Trump as an example please grin
I'm not sure you understand the workings of the American electoral system.

You are a BIG fool, if you cannot read my post in context of a brewery that Obi invested in.

You claim you are for production, rather than consumption, but you invested in a brewery when there is a manufacturing hub in Nnewi that needs power to boost productivity.

This thread is about Obi.

Omokri (just like every sane Nigerian) faults Obi's investment in a brewery rather than in something that could actually boost production and increase IGR.

If you have nothing meaningful to contribute to the thread, while not go in search of threads bashing the president?

U r srill deflecting nwokem.
Was all u have said the reasin why ur 'Plesident' refused to build a single school in his 8 year governance mis-governance of anambala state??
cool
43Ronin:

Reno is feeding the illiteracy that has plagued your region despite efforts by awolowo to make education free. Does PO not building a single school means there was no budgetary allocation for educational development during his time as Govr? That's why I asked you to name one FGC/Unity School built by FG since 2007. Does it mean FG did not allocate funds for the development of its secondary schools? Stop fooling your forefathers and intelligent tribesmen
If not for wickedness-induced tribalism, how can someone who diverted your collective glory to his family biznaze and the same person refused to build not a singke scjool in 8 years be foistered on nigerian as the next tin after slice bread.

It is this 'blood is thicker thsn water' lack of accountability in your dna that does not make nigerians trust u with leadership position: ''so long as he's my bloda he can do no wrong" mentality.
