Haywhy433:She should ignore them. You can only successfully flagpole if the school is offering programs eligible for PGWP. Since they aren't, then they will be turned back at the border. |

Haywhy433:Let ur friend check ircc website if the school and course qualify for pgwp and if not that flag pole therory is a liar but just a marketing format by the private college and part reason some student are stranded after graduate from non- pgwp college especially in ontario .you need lmia to flagpole in that situAtion which is not easy ! |

Oluwaloniglory7:Hello, please include it as ur family still applying for visit visa , you can include it in your support letter but u have to also proof it better for your family to come visit then you going to visit them and please document everything becos l notice ircc refuse some pgwp visa based on the fact the student dont graduate from the program within the sitpulated time and in your situation that you now asking for semester break means u will not finish ur program within stipulated time according to ur student permit and also where was it stated that ur family sowp was refused becos you did not include ur bank statement while ur wife account is well funded did you order ur gsms note? |

1. Yes, he can apply from inside Canada 2 & 3. He should go ahead to make his tuition fee payment while you and your family can act as his sponsor, submit all required documents, and ensure he does it as if he is applying outside of Canada. 4. Instead of opening an account why not go with the GIC option. I think this will be better because the account might not meet the 4-6 month requirement. Aibisoye0: |

You need to determine that POF= 1st year tuition fee + 2nd year tuition fee + 1 year living expenses + 2nd year living expenses Phemmyadot: |

Oluwaloniglory7:Actually you are not eligible to work part time or full time in a period of leave as a student...family visit application may be refused as you are not considered a full time student within the period of leave. |

Lekiboboe:i believe this is a dated post but I believe their's still some insight that needs more light here. Pls is pgd(post graduate diploma) same thing with Pgcert like u mentioned?Reason for this is that, I'm a graduate of B.eng in civil engineering aspiring to study supply chain and operation management a pgd programme in canada. however, does my academic progression hinders my chances of visa approvement? |

Hello house, please is there anyone that summit medical report with visa application for study route, and medical report have been updated as passed and not received final decision yet. Secondly, is it possible for medical to be updated as passed, and eligibility not yet started? Lastly, What's the probability of PPR after getting medical passed, even though the applicant did an upfront medical. |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Lekiboboe: 1:34pm On Apr 29, 2024 |
Mckandre:In Canada, a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and a Postgraduate Certificate (PG Cert) are not the same, though they are similar. PGD is offered at Universities, while PG Cert is offered by colleges. Also Some PGD programs tends to have higher admission requirements than that of a PG Cert most especially in the aspect of grades. Both are aimed at providing further education and specialization after completing an undergraduate degree, but there are a few key differences: 1. Length of Study: A PGD typically lasts one to two years, while a PG Cert usually spans a shorter period, often less than a year. 2. Depth of Study: A PGD generally offers a more in-depth and comprehensive study compared to a PG Cert. It may include a project or a thesis, whereas a PG Cert is more about gaining specific skills and knowledge in a focused area. 3. Purpose: PGDs are often pursued by those looking to deepen their expertise in a specific field or pivot to a new area that may be related or unrelated to their undergraduate studies. PG Certs are usually aimed at specific skill enhancement or updating current knowledge to align with industry demands. Regarding visa approval, having a clear academic progression or a logical career pathway that aligns with your studies can indeed be beneficial. However, it is not typically a hindrance unless there are major discrepancies or inconsistencies in your application. Your move from Civil Engineering to Supply Chain and Operation Management can be justified in your statement of purpose by highlighting the relevance of management and operational skills in engineering projects, and your desire to broaden your professional scope. This explanation can show a thoughtful career progression plan, which can be advantageous for your visa application. Await additional response from others |

It is advisable to have your complete funds available to you, to avoid telling convincing stories how you will fund the 2nd year. EbenMayor: |

I think CAC information can be updated, because the original founders of a company can sell or part of their shares and this will have to be back up with legal documents or the CAC profile updated. OTSAMUEL: |
