It is as good as going to a customary court for marriage even though it is not the same.

Just do a change of name for her in any of the daily newspapers after your marriage, include a copy of the page as well as a copy of your marriage certificate in your application and you are good to go.

This will not affect the application in anyway.As a matter of fact,you are expected to make use of the name as written on her international passport. The determining factor here is the name on her international passport and not just her marriage certificate.

You can decide to change her international passport details (bearing her new names) prior to the conclusion of the processing of her application at a later date (and you can decide to do it now if you've got the time and money).

Her last name won't change now. It will only change if you go for the change of name thing. Just go ahead my friend

People born after 1979 do not declare their ages at any court as a condition to getting d NPC version of birth cert. So if u were born like in 1980, go with ur birth cert whether local govt or hospital's to any NPC office near u....pay d damn cash...that is it. Two passport photos are needed. All these I did when I processed mine in Jos...it cost me N2K...but u know Lagos!

Some folks don't change any name...there are other ways to show there is a legal union as others have said. I'd like my wife to keep her names.

I think sb said April 2015. Anyway, nonstop electronic version should start by January 2015 and nurses are always needed...so the coast is clear.

Anyway, wes address is www.wes.org/ca. You apply there, make payment, you will get a reference no when you make payment, complete your application, print out a completed transcript request form, go to your school with that, your school will be the one to send your transcript while you send copies of your certs to wes yourself.

When these arrive wes, wes will now be the one to send NMC copies of yoir certs NOT YOU (usually, wes will email you to inform you that they have sent your certificates to NMC for verification), you will then get intouch with NMC for further directives from them.

So you are not paying any money to NMC untill your certs have arrived there
