Hi guys,
Good day. Please I have a question. After submission, how long does it take for your account to be debitted.
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by crazyinlove: 3:34pm On Dec 04, 2014
Also, How can one know when the application package has been received and subsequent tracking.
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 4:10pm On Dec 04, 2014
Is the financial requirement for the other program same as in the express entry program? @solomonwis, ferdimako and co

If u have used a courier, just track your package if it's delivered, you will see the status and the name of the staff that signed d application in. That shows it's been received.

After then, you'll start waiting till you are charged, that is on the condition that your application is complete and has all the documents needed and all forms filled correctly.

With observed trend, around 12 weeks after submission, but with realities on ground now, you can be expecting charging from 8 weeks or less

I believe so but things are sketchy now. From January, we will know them. If not favorable, Oz will have me finally.

I finally mailed my applications yesterday through courier (DHL). It cost me #21,550! It takes 5 working days to get to Canada.

...but I found out I did not declare any asset or liabilities. I only stated the settlement funds required. Does it affect anything?

Thanks.

It's quite on the high side. I used UPS and paid #18,500 within 3 days my documents were in Canada.

Hi. Please could someone tell me if this is a major problem.....

My spouse and I took IELTS. I took General while he took Academic. We both did very well (8 and 9). However, the guidelines state that the IELTS required is General. I am the Principal applicant and my IELTS is general. Would our application be adversely affected if my spouse' test result is Academic? Kindly advice please.

Is there anyone expecting their evaluation from Wes.My hubby evaluation had been dispatched since the 2nd but ups according to the tracking schedule said they had exceptional delay. Had to call ups here and was told there was an airport strike in Germany. I don't know what to do thats the only thing delaying the application.Should we tell WES. send another valuation with another courier ?

The airport strike is currently affecting all mails passing through Europe to other parts of the world. The same thing is currently affecting my ECA too sent via TNT whose current location is in London when tracked.
Hold on a little pls..... Oyinbo strike can't be protracted compared to our own strike here.

If you notify Wes to send another ECA, IT WOULD STILL PASS THROUGH EUROPE before getting to Nigeria.

Chill pill 1000mg pls

Some courier companies performed " recovery actions " of some mails ( letters n documents ) , slated for customs check @ these European airports. That's y you could get a letter from Canada via London.

Large parcels n packages must undergo customs check.

Be hopeful that UPS will extract your mail from customs queue and forward it to you.

TNT already updated my status online saying " recovery actions underway"

Either of the two, or both together. Depends on how much you have in either. If one has enough funds in one to meet the required amount, then you don't need the other.

Just convert your total proof of funds to canadian dollars and put in the figure in the assets column and total column.
The evidence is your proof of fund (either statement of account and/or your investment certificate)

My application was received on Nov. 17th but my proof of delivery showed signed for by 'blank'. There was no name. Should i be worried? However, I mailed dhl support to tell me who exactly signed for the package.

Same shoes we are in bro. Mine also showed blank. I guess it was delivered. Problem could be DHL's.
I am not worried anyway. Sent mine on 25th Nov.

Hi pickabeau,

I plan to send my package tomorrow. I have been gathering new documents, especially my BC from National Population Commision etc. I have one question please.

Can someone please confirm

ECONOMIC CLASSES FORM Section 11

(a) Assets = Value of all your properties and assets (including unencumbered funds)

(b) Liabilities = Debts

(c) Settlement funds = Unencumbered funds at you disposal (especially your bank statement)

Is this true? @Slya, Damkollins please comment too

The settlement of funds is the most important so I always advice applicants not to give too much importance to assets and liabilities so that they do not put themselves into bottleneck .
My advice (it worked for me so it's a personal opinion ) is the your evidence of POF figure is your settlement of fund .....and like you say,it's your unencumbered cash inform of statement of account and/or pension fund and/or bank certificate letter.
Use black pen to write $0.0000 on the liabilities designated column.
In the case of assets ,you can leave it blank or put same figure as your settlement of fund there .
Either way,you will be fine .
Cheers.
