Nearly half of all Christians in Nigeria are Catholics and they vote in block......they revere their Priests and Bishops.

Last time they voted massively for Goodluck but now times have changed. Oritsejafor the CAN President is already viewed as a politician. He doesn't enjoy the support of many Christians today and cannot mobilize them to vote for Goodluck.

If you have ever walked with GOD through the valley of the shadow of death, you would understand all what is playing out in Nigeria. So many otherwise crowd pulling but fake men of God are in for a surprise. Humiliation and disgrace knocking at their door. Judgment is going on even as God is in the process of redeeming and restoring Nigeria. The Word of God is being played out and even those who say they walk with and work for God don't even know it! Some have the truth of the matter and they know the mind of GOD, they are the ones really laughing at the mess going on and they have peace that nobody can understand only God but they are obscure, not in your faces. They are not church members, not party members, they are just God followers watching and confirming His Word concerning whatever He is doing. They are very few and scattered. They don't go by what they feel or see but by what GOD says, it may not make sense judging by their five natural senses but they sure know that the spiritual overturns the physical.

Nigeria is a SPIRITUAL WARFARE and GOD IS IN FULL CONTROL and there are so many confusing voices but I am not confused! I don't have candidates, I have God and Who He has chosen. His candidate may not be who you like but God knows the better person for His Restoration Work! I am on God's side. He alone knows and sees what we cannot see as mere men. ALWAYS fight to be on God's side, no confusion but peace and assurance of victory. He is your ever winning side no matter the odds. Peace!

my dear,it has been a big argument whether religious men should interfere in "Nigerian" politics,even if,not now. It erodes their credibility in the long run.
I remember the slapping saga between ohakim and a priest, the same slapping and rough treatment of a priest by Rochas, the questionable impeachment of the past deputy governor of enugu and the shameless replacement in the office with a bishop,the political stance of fr. Ebube muonso between Ngige and Obiano and so many others. I see all of these issues as a wrong intrusion of the church into politics. I was mad the day a pastor said we should pray against SLS and his cohorts for sponsoring BH.
That's why I don't take political pronouncement serious if its from a religious person,especially one who speaks from that inclination.

Like I use say to people during our conversation, is not all Igbo people that allow sentiment to cloud their judgement, it's high time other men of God come out and tell us the truth rather than say what are corrupt leaders want to hear!!! 1.) Why did the Yoruba party (AD) adopt OBJ as their presidential candidate in 2003 even after criticising him on the pages of newspapers?

2.) Why did Obj win in all the Yoruba states even though he was contesting against Mr Incorruptible Buhari?

The construction of 2nd Niger Bridge
through a Public Private Partnership
involving Julius Berger -NSIA
Consortium and tolling the Igbo people
for 25 years thereafter is another 419
on the Biafran Igbo citizens of South
East Nigeria. According to the terms of
this fraudulent business, the project is
a Design, Finance, Build, Operate and
Transfer (DFBOT) model to cost N117
Billion naira with the Federal
Government contributing a paltry N30
billion naira while the consortium will
raise the rest of the funds and
thereafter hold the Igbo people to
ransom by collecting a 25 year toll tax
for raising the rest of the funds
offshore.
President Jonathan speaking at the
ground breaking ceremony at Onitsha
in March 2014 said that “as part of our
administration’s Transformation
Agenda in the road sector, we have set
out to construct two very important
new bridges, across our Nation’s two
great rivers – the River Niger and River
Benue.These are the Loko-Oweto
Bridge linking Nasarawa and Benue
States,which is progressing
satisfactorily, and this 2nd Niger
Bridge, connecting Anambra and Delta
States.” It is worthy to note that the
other bridges are being constructed by
Jonathan regime without any PPP and
without any toll tax on the people of
Benue and Nasarrawa States.
This means that all President Ebele
Jonathan can do for the Igbos since
they gave him unprecedented support
since 2010 is to contribute only N30
billion naira while some Shylock
consortium raises the rest of the
money and milks the Igbo nation for 25
years.
Experts have told me that the bridge is
not supposed to cost anything above
N50 billion , going by Nigerian standard
of cost inflation, including the 11 km
access roads. However, this contract
cost was doubled overnight to N117
billion naira to justify the financial heist
on Ndigbo. The fraudulent
construction will cost N117 billion for a
1.5 km bridge while the 1.3 km Lekki-
Ikoyi suspension Bridge cost only N29
billion naira. Thus the thieves jerked
the cost of constructing the 2nd Niger
bridge to 4 times the actual cost just to
justify the rape on the over grateful
Igbo nation.
Informed sources within Ohanaeze
and among Igbo leaders and All
Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) have
continued to echo that this 2nd Niger
Bridge business venture is actually
between Julius Berger, Ebele Jonathan
and Peter Obi and that Mr Peter Obi’s
2nd Niger Bridge business venture will
yield at least N12 billion naira annually.
Reliable sources have revealed that
whenever the bridge is finished, all
heavy duty vehicles will pay N1000 toll
fee while cars and mini buses will pay
N500 naira. Tricycles will pay N200
while cyclists will pay N100 naira each
time they pass through the bridge.
This criminal toll gate will yield the
corrupt business consortium and their
secret sponsors about N1 billion
monthly. This means that in 4 years,
the thieves would have recovered N50
billion which is the actual over-
exaggerated cost of constructing
(going by the Federal Ministry of Works
Corrupt Standard). Going by the
Governor Fashola Run Lagos State
standard, the bridge will not cost
anything above N30 billion naira and
thieves will take about two years plus
to recover their investments and the
rest 22 years will be excess profit.
The financial interpretation of this
criminality is that for 25 years with
static revenue of N12 billion annually
(ignoring the tendencies to increase
the toll fee after 2 years) , the thieves
will make N300 billion naira turnover
with 250 billion naira as profit. This
means that their investment is
recouped within 4 years and the rest
21 years is profit. If the cost of such
offshore long term cost is factored,
usually 2.5 -5% per annum, and its
future value for 25 years is factored, it
cannot get any anywhere near N60
billion naira and yet the financial
bandits are bandying N117 billion naira
as cost of constructing the bridge.
The implication is that some politicians
within the presidency and Anambra
State Govt House have done 419 on the
Igbo nation and we are all smiling like
charmed drunks. If the entire Igbo
nation is charmed, I am not. God will
definitely disgrace the thieves that
want to put the Igbo race into a slavish
bondage of paying through the nose
for a Niger Bridge when all the rest of
Nigeria, from Benue to Kogi , Calabar
to Lagos,Maidugeri to Sokoto and all
over Nigeria has bridges, dams, silos,
roads etc built with Federal
Government money while the defeated
Biafran Igbos of South East will have
theirs built and tolled for 25 years.
For all the support Ndigbo gave Ebele
Azikkiwe Jonathan since 2010, a PPP
modeled 2nd Niger Bridge is far worse
that what Awolowo did when Ojukwu
released him from Calabar prison and
he promised to declare Oduduwa
Republic, but chickened out at the
deceptive offer of Gowon. This time
around, this disappointment is not
from a Soyinka nor Obasajo nor
Tinubu, rather it is under the
supervision of “our cousin” Ebele
Azikiwe Jonathan, and our former
Chairman, Board of Trustees of All
Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA)
‘Igbo Party” Peter Obi and world
acclaimed Igbo Economist Okonjo
Iwuala whose economic wisdom failed
to notice the injustice and criminality in
this transaction.
Condemning the fraud called 2nd Niger
Bridge, former governor of Anambra
State and serving senator, Dr Chris
Ngige said that “The first is that the
bridge is being built on a Public Private
Partnership(PPP) deal, with overseas
financiers. For that reason, the cost of
the bridge suffered double inflation,
both from the Nigeria end and the
financiers who alleged cost of fund.
“The bridge, which should have cost
N70 billion is now to cost N114 billion,
that was why I told the South-East
Senate Caucus that I was not going to
be a part of it”. Ngige even got it
wrong-the bridge should have cost
between N30-N50 billion naira, and
factoring cost of funds it should be t
around N40-N60 Billion if PPP should
be used.
Ohanaeze and all Igbo leaders should
condemn this enslavement of Ndigbo
through this over-bloated and
fraudulent construction of a bridge
and must demand immediately the
cancellation of this PPP Design,
Finance, Build, Operate and Transfer
model .
Jonathan led Government should
takeover the responsibility for the full
construction of that bridge, and settle
off the fraudulent consortium. This
fraudulent 419 2nd Niger Bridge
should be revised for a full scale
Federal Government Built arrangement
before another scandal erupts.

God's process of Restoration/Redemption reveals the real heart of everyman. Never heard of Rev Mbaka but now I hear he is well known among the catholic faith. Soon His teaming crowd and even new converts will know whether Fr Mbaka is God-sent or satan-sent all this while. Everyday for the thief, one day for the owner. I am laughing and watching. So many will know soon whether they have been walking the path of God or Satan/man. I know for a fact that God is cleansing the church giving us so many signs but people are not seeing clearly to understand the moves of God. People find it hard to detatch from what they are used to or from their comfort zone and God is still shaking and shaking these zones for people to fall out. Will they understand? Time will tell. I just love GOD and HIS style, everybody talking tough and being relevant now until HE shuts them up because HE alone see beyond, no competition, no permission, no explanation... You are too economical with the truth. Obasanjo made Igbos everything in his government by merit and his government was more successful though not corrupt free.

Soludo, Ndukwe, Ezekwesili, Akunyili, Okonjo-Iweala, Okereke Onyiuke, Barth Nnaji etc. helped change Nigeria's economy. He actually did the Onitsha-Owerri road and not Jonathan as being persistently claimed by Omokri.

There is no 2nd Niger bridge as we all still used the one constructed by Tafawa Balewa government and repaired by Yakubu Gowon government. Enugu/Port-Harcourt express way has not reached 2% not to talk of being completed. The Owerri-Elele road is the most completed at 70%. The rest of federal roads in both Southeast and Southsouth are in need of repair.

How did you measure this to be the "Spirit of God"? When he first endorsed them, what spirit possessed him? The "truth" to you is only when pastors speak what you want to hear? Do you know that God is not moved by what we feel? He is only moved by what He has planned from creation. He is never surprised at what is happenng, He is all knowing, seeing understanding. You can not cage GOD. God is full of mysteries, He can do and undo. Put your eyes on Him first not the other way round... Do not choose and ask God to endorse your choice, this can only happen by coincidence. Forget your situation, ASK GOD which way forward. God is not about feelings or pain because sometimes, in His process of answering your prayers, He ALLOWS you go through some frustrations, pain, even bloodshed.... oh yes deep things but understand. IT IS A SPIRITUAL WARFARE IN NIGERIA (in fact, worldover). You CANNOT win a spiritual war by what/how you feel, your desires/wishes (all this is carnal/flesh). Spiritual war is fought and won spiritually ....satan fighting using men and God fighting back using men too; it is a war between darkness and light. Now, who determines who really is darkness and light personified is what is bringing confusion amongst men but God is not confused, He is God and has the final weapon, joker. Satan uses pastors too! Have you ever wondered how God fights with just a few people and still win and satan has so many on his side and still lose the battle? ALL POWERS BELONG TO GOD. Food for thought.

Last summer I was at the Gate of Haven Catholic Church Boston, a priest walked up to me when he learnt I am a Nigerian. The first thing he asked me was if I knew a priest in Nigeria called Ejijke Mbaka, I said yes, he told me how much they hear about him in the US and the great things he's doing in Nigeria. Next question he asked me was if we love him, I replied him yes, we love him more than our Bishop.
It's quite disheartening to find people who on this thread try to discredit Fr Mbaka just because of their political affiliation and not because of the content of what the man of God preached.
GEJ hasnt improved the fortunes of the country better than how he met her 6yrs ago. In his tenure , No public official has been convicted or jailed for corruption, this is a quite remarkable achievement. It's even more disheartening that the main opposition failed to produce a viable alternative who can push the country to the next level. I weep for Nigeria.

Now I understand y some Nigerians are supporting GEJ... They are scared of Buhari's strictness and zero tolerance to indiscipline.

I was only against his age, but love his kind of person as a leader. GEJ has tried let him relax and allow someone else to take the mantle. Please na my own view, no abuse me o!

God is known to reduce His army when in battle. He knows who really is truly working with Him, He sees the heart and therefore removes such from His army. Ayayaya, so many need to know what God is doing now in this nation. Great film showing! The ignorance are busy exhibiting what they have and that does not stop God. Confusion, deceit, lie, truth, confidence, hope, trust/distrust, humiliation, disgrace even bloodshed are all allowed in this theater and the end is near.

Vote who you want, God has chosen who He wants to continue the restoration work with irrespective of what you feel. GOD is GOD. We prayed to Him to help Nigeria and He is in control, mabe not how you want it but God's ways are never the ways of man. Ride on my Immortal Invicible All-knowing All-seeing All-understanding God who uses the MOST UNLIKELY thing to bring down His glory. Be Wise: God can never share His glory, He uses "RUBBISH' to bless you so that no man will glory in himself.
