The largest Sovereign Wealth Fund in the world-called Government Pension Fund Global (GPFG) is owned by Norway; (administered by Norges Bank) and is worth about $890 billion (£556 billion) . 65% of that amount is invested in equities across the world outside Norway.

Recent reports have confirmed that GPFG has invested $3.8 billion invested in the African stock markets and it is useful to know what their Nigerian portfolio looks like to enable us know where their money is flowing to.
Can you find any of them in your portfolio ?

Isn't that too high?

That's not too high for me, I'm a punter. It's a good price to park N2.6m for 2 weeks. The benefits are:
1) Good capital appreciation
2) Bonus shares (100,000 additional units)
3) Dividend (+N150,000).

@ Mercy, In the spirit of bullhari celebration, go buy Vitafoam. Result will be released very soon and they are coming with twin reward. But make sure you don't quote me and pls do your due diligence (in the words of Myjoy). Come back and thank me but don't come with Hispy because I like privacy.

When I gave above recommendation based on info available to me, instead of brothers/sisters asking questions, over sabi people here dubbed me a monkey hunter. I claim not to know anything about stock analysis and I don't think am interested in analyzing stocks on the NSE. You know why? No analyst has been able to translate their analysis to huge profit. Those who have made a kill on the NSE are those who had the privilege of INFORMATION. Without information, forget analysis - fundamental or technical. NSE is not ripe for the kind of text book analysis seen in developed markets. In Nigeria, a company that is fundamental good today can go under tomorrow due to instability in govt policies, bad management or some other factors. In advance markets, yes fundamental or technical analysis help a lot but those who make the most money are those with information. An American colleague once told me last year to forget Warren Buffet - that the man started stock business by buying information from certain coy personnel. When I see stock recommendation here or on SMN, I particularly look out for recommendations that are based on information. Its not everyday you get such information especially the type that will make you have a kill. Those who bought Ikeja hotel at 66k; FO at N24; Union Dicon Salt, etc, are today smiling to their banks. These stocks were fundamentally and technically nonexistent. But see the kind of money they have put in the pockets of people who got the information to invest in them. What is the essence of stock investing? Is it not to make good money? Next time, when somebody gives stock recommendation, ask questions before dubbing it monkey hunting. Where the person cannot justify the basis of the recommendation, discard the recommendation - whether its based on fundamental, technical, spiritual or Information. What matters at the end of the day is the percentage the stock you recommend gains on the exchange. All those over sabi people here should tell us how many percent their recommended stocks have gained on the NSE. When they see bull, they become stock experts. But when the bears surface, everybody takes cover. A good analyst should be able to analyse and recommend stock both in bull and bear season. Anything short of this is hogwash and preposterous - and a mere tumbum tumbum analysis. They dismissed my recommendation to buy Vitafoam at N3.80 but are scrambling to buy it for N5.32, and that is if they find it. At N5.32, the stock is no longer illiquid. Some condemned the stock but went secretly to buy it thereby discouraging others from buying. Brothers and sisters, lets try to help ourselves. That's why I respect Myjoy and AKS and few others. If my long epistle offends anyone, I apologise. We are still brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Abeg, saibuhari, forgive those who disregarded your post. We don't know which info is genuine or not. Your point about information is true. You will also agree that not everyone can have access to information, hence the need for fundamental/technical analysis. For instance, I bought some units of UnitedCAP just a few days before the 2014 result came out. I had NO information about the result; I only dug into the archives of the stock and placed a bet on a good result.

@all: Please anyone with genuine info should please share. I'm willing to connect and make profits. Thanks.

Happy investing.

Na Normadic school I go for inside bush, I no sabi English o. But you are a culprit here Mercy. You dubbed Vitafoam an illiquid stock and ruled yourself out of such stock but went secretly to buy it - although you couldn't get it at your alaroro price. Such attitude no good na, my sister.
