I have a couple of female friends who have gotten to the " age of marriage" like they say. Between the age range of 28 - 30. Now, these chics as far as I know them are not miscreants ( you know like the kongo aso girls that sleep around). I am not saying they have not done or they don't do but they are good chics. Two weeks ago, I had a discussion with one of them and she practically broke down in tears.

Why can't I get a husband? All my friends are getting married; the annoying thing is that most of these friends of mine I know how they live their dirty lives. I am just here being the good girl, going to Church and at the end of the day, I end up with a guy that doesn't appreciate me. Why are you guys like this? I am tired, she yelled emotionally!

Now, that's just one of them and the other who said she was tired of being a good girl and doing all that relationship kind of thing, she just needs to man who would come to her and just say " let's get married"... I can go on and on with their stories but I was just thinking...

There are lots of ladies out there looking for husbands and it's crazy for these because Men now take advantage of their condition. Some guys even go as far as promising them marriage just to get the cookies. Guys sha! I was wondering, is it that these chics are not doing something they ought to be doing? Is it that they don't position themselves to get the exact kind of guys that they want in their life? Or is it that they have behavioral issues or something? But so far I know, they are good people.

When ladies get to this " age of marriage" period, it seems like they put themselves under intense pressure. Like when they see their friends getting married and family and friends asking " when are you getting married?" it makes them want to jump into any man and I tell you, a brother can see through desperation somehow! I think ladies should try as much as they can not to give into this pressure, maybe they should focus on doing something else, get involved in a Church project, activities, join a group, develop themselves further and in the course of this they could find the man of their dreams.


I really don't know, but what do you think?

A girl that started sleeping with men at the age of 18 must be very tired and used at the age of 30. Naturally, fresh men won't find you appealing.

I suggest no lady shd go beyond 28yrs without getting married if marriage is a priority to you. Nothing wrong in getting married while in school. I married my wife while she was in school. She got our second child while serving!

Those of her friends who thought she was in haste are now going to church to pray for husbands....and yet she looks fresher than them cos of rest of mind.

The thing op is they are being good to get husbands not because they want to be good and if they are not........ Then the problem is that they act good till the guy dates them, then they probably become freaky especially in bed, which takes the guy aback since they seemed harmless before dating...

When a guy sees a good girl he makes the mistake of thinking she is innocent and knows nothing which is wrong. When they start dating and she starts doing things they didn't believe the gentle girl can do, they take it that she is pretentious.



And they have done the deed and have not married and you are saying they are good? That is another problem. When the dude doesn't meet her a virgin he thinks her a pretentious girl.... Ask them how they lost their virginity, you should discover their problem from there.

From experience Church girls and decent girls suffer more in this regard why?
1. They avoid the good guys because those guys are either shy, boring or broke
2. they want you to keep begging and toasting and running after them for 2 years, gone are those days girls,
3. they think they are too holy or saint and because they think you had a bad past they wont give you a chance at all
4. most of this girls wouldnt even grant you on a date request
5. Good girls/born again girls are very rude expecially when you are showing signs of feelings, they either dont pick you calls nor return your calls, they talk to you like you bothering them, they make communication frustrating
6. They always get it twisted thinking because they are good they will get a husband but unfortunately life is not like that
7. They should stop being rigid and be more welcoming

I could remember i started liking this decent over religious girl, she replied my messages after 3 days, when i call she mostlt doesnt pick and when she does she starts talking like someone is bothering her. I was just trying to get to know her, even though she is a special jewel, sometimes a jewel might become too expensive that it will wilther off in the store for decades, it got so annoying that though i still like her now i just totally ignored and stopped bothering her that the thing is now paining her that she deleted me from BBM cos i didnt ping her , call, text or chat her for over 6 months, i was like why pretend when you freaking feel the same way

Now she is 28 but who cares, God wont come down to answer your prayer, after they have sent out all suitors with their own hands, they will now start crying and disturbing God that one mama is doing them.

I know a lot of good girls in that same shoe, One funny thing about life is when you get to that desperate age no matter how good you are, how saint you are men would run away from you.

So ladies be wise, You need to know how to hold your self in high esteem without sending away possible suitors, until a man marries you always have a way of keeping possible suitors around in form of friendship, Be wise one of the reason why most girls also have marriage issue is over depending on a guy that has been dating them a long while without puting a ring on it, find a way to allow other guys stick around. When that guy finally dumps them after 5 years, it becomes a disaster

The truth is: The Nigerian ecconomy is a major factor.
1. There are very low jobs.. The ones that are employed sef are underemployed & underpaid.
2. Most boys are still living in their parents house in their late 20's, plenty in their 30's sef.
Marriage is the last thing on their mind as they are struggling to survive & make ends meet.

The ladies that wants marriage will want a guy that is set. Living on his own, good job & can foot bills as the head of the house.
The reality of this age is: Man & Woman should put their resources together. Get an apartment, fund a wedding, buy a car.. U get the idea. It helps.

Funny, i know a guys in their early 30's. They dont seem to be bothered about not being married at all. When we get together, our talk is on how to make more money & not drown in this hostile Nigerian Economy. Maybe its time for the Female folks to stop looking at marriage as the "ultimate achivement"

My brother, while I believe in fasting and prayer but I think there's still more to it.

I know those who have fasted and prayed but nothing has happened until this moment. Maybe they should fast and pray more right? What about those girls who don't know how to pray and fast but have gotten married?
