If you go and check the op, you will discover that either the op or member of his family is looking for appointment under mr pmb . If not a busy hand won't come here to write up all those things. If there is nothing coming out of this your wasted time infact I will advice to seek a job in tele media company as news editor. |

Who is talking about Nigeria budget really? The past administration had no respect whatsoever for budgetary Provisions. We are all a witness to how they spent close to 2 trillion on fuel subsidy scam in 2010/11.Was that budgeted for? |

Maghan37:So because you read an article on Nairaland that makes it the ultimate truth right ? Not everything you read online is true. No wonder Nigeria is still where it is with people like you who are too lazy to ask questions accepting everything there are told. No nation which is full of naive and gullible people can move forward. |

CSTR2:MizMyColi, this is just my response to PassingShots! Do we really need to prove some points here? Buhari was declared president-elect in the March 28 presidential election - without no executive power. He began his tenure by 11am on the 29th of May 2015 and today is 20th June, less than a month and yet some random guy claims he's responsible for the refineries? Even the piece never gave credence to PMB? The only executive order relates to setting up a new Military Command and Control Center in Maiduguri as against the relocation as ordered by our dear president in his maiden speech as a president. Without no critical appointment yet except for Media and propaganda? Please, let's leave these guys to their delusions! You mean after putting those reports all for no use? Just to prove a points that never existed in the first place? This is an example of an exercise in futility. |

Whynotthetruth:Yet we had money to pay more as subsidy to friends of the president? Yet we preferred to import at international price via licensed importers when the government could have taken charge of delivering the crude to a refinery abroad and getting its content worth of all crude oil fractions as postulated by Buhari, to meet up for shortages due to capacity limitations of our refineries? |

Just when Nigerians were groaning over thehttp://nairametrics.com/all-four-refineries-will-produce-only-19-million-litres/ The bolded shows that thix project started under the watch of GEJ........also all APC warriors have told us time & time again that we shoukd not judge PMB yet cos he is just starting i.e. He is just 3weekz in power so @passingshot, the hypocrite, give to Ceasar hix due what belongz to him. N.B. GEJ haz already gotten the praise for the refinery turnaround & there is nothin U & ya likez can do about it XCEPT u guyz want us to start judging PMB'z administration from May 28th when we are all evidenced with facts that "he has done nothin sice assumption......9JA is on autopilot since May 29th....... |

Ten ships laden with petroleum products and food items have arrived Lagos ports waiting to berth. This is contained in a publication `Daily Shipping Position’ made available by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) to newsmen on Tuesday in Lagos. The document noted that the ships were waiting to discharge petrol, diesel, aviation fuel, base oil and bulk rice. It indicated that 31 other ships laden with petrol, diesel, fresh fish, general cargo, buck wheat, containers, steel products and base oil were being expected at the ports. The publication, however, explained that 14 other ships containing diesel, base oil, crude salt, buck wheat, rice, container and bulk sugar were discharging at the ports. http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/2015/06/10-ships-laden-with-fuel-food-items-arrive-lagos/ |

Fixcer:This is all that need be said. Jonathan was a dunce of the nth order. Even when he wanted to concede defeat to Buhari, the cabal did all they could to deter him. Why? They knew such a submissive and controllable puppet only comes once in a thousand years. Atleast, they are happy they got so much out of his regime to last 4 generations. |

The fact is, there is absolutely more to the latest developments coming from the NNPC. I won't be surprised to find out that Nigerians have been deceived and sabotaged from enjoying surplus oil production for their daily needs/consumptions. Meanwhile, some top shots and high-profile office holders have been hugely profiting and benefiting from the widely accepted rumour that our refineries weren't in good shape to produce to their full capacities or functions. Also, the talk that 'fuel subsidy is a big scam' can't be discounted. Let's watch and see more dramas unfold in the next few days/weeks. |

ideology:Even, if he should give him the credit for bringing it back in service , you cannot deny the refurbishment period was too long. The implications was overspending both in refurbishment and subsidies. Really not acceptable if you ask me. |

PassingShot:Are U daft? The 2015 budget as approved by the GEJ administration didnt make any provision for subsidy payments. What does that imply? Must Jonathan use the statutory fulfilment of his responsibilities to campaign? You guys are so used to lies and propaganda that every action of the government has to be politicised. The TAM of refineries can never be started and completed in weeks. You can choose to continue deceiving yourself. That's none of my business |

StOla:1)Past and present events has vindicated diezani words as true and statement of fact...privatisation is key...deregulation of oil which everybody is advocating means selling those refineries to private individuals... which is the reason for PIB which is gathering dust in national assembly... 3)If you support passage of PIB, by that support deregulation of oil sector...and insult Diezani for saying government has no business running refineries...then you're a confused nincompoop because you don't even understand PIB or what it represents... 3)Passingshot who you support is simply saying that these actions are to the credit of buhari hence my calling him names...because in all he said, there's nowhere he submitted anything that shows buhari input...so how did he come about that we should thank buhari ![]() 4)If the TAM is easy; why did it not work under APC chief consultant; Obasanjo ...Why not Google same to see why they are in a fix?...Why not apply same to our Abeokuta steel company to see how easy or less complex such engineering work are![]() Nigeria is doomed with sycophantic, chronic partisan mentality, and insincere folks like passingshot... |

Nairalandinfo:So, the project actually started in November and NNPC told us in February 2015 it was looking to sign an agreement with local engineers? It started in November and the same NNPC told us in March 2015 that the refineries will come on stream in the first quarter of 2016? Not all of us can be fooled all the time. |
