May God bless you my brother. War is something every rationality inclined human being will like to avoid, most people talking about war and secession have never seen real crisis not to talk of war. Integration should be the theme for all Nigerians. Shikena

Why do you people keep talking about war? This is not 1967, it seems most of you have forgotten Nigeria amalgamation expired in 2014 and no tribe can be forced to remain in Nigeria if they don't want to, Referendum is the way forward so quit talking about war cos it ain't gonna happen.

carry gun... let me burst ur Bubble... Igbos in NA would fight for Nigeria

Let me burst your bubble, we don't care, is it not BH wiping their arsses together?
Chad called them cowards, so to me, they are bunch of civilians beating frog jump ordering sissies, immediately Chad withdrew their forces, Boko started handing them their arsses again.

An army loses its military barrack with just some RPG fired and and few high caliber gin firrd is nothing more than glorified boys scouts on camouflage.

Then again, soldiers that don't get their benefits, they have it squandered for them by their big belly officers, tell me how this people will kill themselves fighting their brothers and die happily knowing that their families will receive their due benefits.

Even the soldiers know a big revolution is needed anyway, so I see everything falling in place for and falling out of place for zoo.

Why must the demand for Biafra independence be seen as an art of war by the blood thirsty children of hate? Is it a must to co exist with you lots?

In reality Ibos want to coexist because Nigeria is a big outlet and produces economic sustenance to their livelihoods, and quality of life. Their disadvantage is political.....they are culturally endowed with a social system that is apathy to the mode of politics and state rulership practiced in Nigeria. Democracy and State Rulership....the existence of a social heirarchy of authority and orderliness comes natural to Yorubas and Hausa/Fulani, who for centuries existed under Obas and Sarkis.

So Ibos want Nigeria but the Nigerian politics is too overwhelming for them, and everytime Ibo get power he miuses it and ruin everything because the system is too confusing for his understanding. As i said earlier, Bifra is a cop out...a hideout for Ibos intimidated by the political rivalry.

And who exactly are Yorubas to tell Ndiigbo the boundary of Igboland? Does Yorubas even know the boundary of Yorubaland? Is Ilorin still part of Yorubaland?

Yorubas are nobody, to tell Ndiigbo the boundaries of Igboland. They should be more interested in the impending score they have to settle with Arewa at Kwara.

Mr man KWARA is yoruba land
If Nigeria seceded today Kwara is going with Yoruba States

As for your 5 states that's all you must manage

How can Kwara go with Yoruba states when it's a conquered territory? Kwara state is not even in SW but in NC, the traditional ruler of Kwara is also an Emir cheesy

because we hv never want to be part of Nigeria.
all we need is our own country then you will know that we igbos don't play tinubu and yoruba, ewedu, amala and odourless fufu type of politics.

The hyperbolic lie that gave you away.
I have never in my life met an Igbo man married to a Yoruba or Hausa woman. I didn't say that they don't exist, but they are so minute that they are statistically insignificant.
There are some few Igbo women that marry those people, but then their kids are NOT Igbo. cool

I am married to an Igbo man. My next door neighbour is yoruba married to an igbo man. Another lady down my street is yoruba married to an igbo man. My best friend is edo married to an igbo man. So what will happen to all our children? cheesy cheesy

Iddiot, who are Yorubas to tell Igbos the states that will join them or not, don't forget we have Igbos in benue and SS, so just go face your South West state and leave biafra issues alone.

Where in Benue do you have Igbos? The problem with Propaganda and brainwashing is that it causes intellectual laziness in some of you that Ndigbo is not know for.

If I were you, I would worry less about Ndiigbo and be more worried about this below:

"When Ndiigbo leaves Nigeria, it will trigger
a cascade of events that will see many
ethnic nationalities in SS leave to form
independent countries of their own or join
Biafra.
The North can't resist them, as Ndiigbo
will stand behind them.
But the North will not let go SW, they will
hold them tight, the way Russia held unto
Chechnya but allowed the rest to leave
the Soviet union. This will be made easier
by the Islamic components within Odua
and because the Odua had sold out their
soul to Arewa.
So in the end, Odua and North will fuse
into a single country i had decided to
name Boko Islamic Sharia republic of
Arewa-Oduanistan, because I anticipate
that without access to Niger delta petrol
dollars to buy weapons to sustain the war
against Boko Haram, the New Arewa-Odua
country will be easily overpowered and
converted to an Islamic Sharia and ruled
by Muslim Boko leaders".

Do these people and millions of other IPOB in 90 countries look like people who u will give referendum and they say "no no sir, we like one Nigeria oh, we love it here thank you".

After 30th May, Nnamdi Kalu gained more followers, u know those ones that like watch and see if people really mean their words, when they heard he came to Aba live, I mean his followership more than tripled, if he has like 10 million prior to 30th may, he will likely have more than 30 million now.
These faces do not look like people that will see someone who wants to vote NO, and they don't club the efulefu there and then.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWyq7PWrs8I

If u think this ones that stood for more than 4,hours under the sun, and marched a whole city with the same sun, will vote No to referendum, then think again.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWyq7PWrs8I

I remember this kind of mob wanted to stone T.A Orji to death when he came to Aba some time last year, they have to had radio an attack helicopter at CPS nearby to come help rescue.

When T.A Orji came back months later he was riding Armored Tank with battle ready NA battalion guarding him.

They let him go cus he is not worthy being killed like a common criminal, they actually left him for vultures to work on him later in his life.

Masterclass32:
Much as I generally agree with the the OP, I have a few reservations.

Suggesting that we learn to live in Nigeria is not it. On the contrary, Nigeria should learn to accept the Igbos into the Nigerian fold. Since the civil war, we've been more or less treated as outcasts in our supposed country. Despite the Reconciliation, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction mantra, not much has been done in the south east. How many states do the Igbo have as against what others have? Federal presence is virtually non existent in the east. The so-called International airport in Enugu is an obvious joke. Any move to build a sea port in the east is crushed. 2nd Niger bridge nko? There has been a deliberate and studied plan to undermine the south east. U can't keep treating me like a slave and expect me to be happy. Left to me, I would advocate REGIONALISM. Make all man develop at their pace.

Again, if we wanted to split Nigeria, inter-tribal marriages wouldn't have stopped it. Who says you must be in the same country with your inlaws? I have friends with inlaws in Germany, south africa etc.

Nigeria better get her act right. The polity is gradaully boiling.

Masterclass32, most of the people who write here are too young or were not born during the Civil war to understand what they shout about. The other thing is that Ndigbo forgets to hold its own accountable and that leads to a lot of problems that are pointed at other people.

Jonathan's Government claimed it undertook massive projects in the South East. Where are those projects today? Money earmarked for lots of those projects were actually embezzled by sons of the soil. Why are those people not being held accountable and the Hausaman has to be blamed for a man cheating his own people?

I am from Benue State, it used to take 45 minutes from Otukpo to Enugu and about 2 hours from Otukpo to Onitsha. Our Benue son was Senate President and a South Easterner was the Deputy Senate President. Those guys were the most powerful people in Government and Onitsha is our biggest regional market. The contract for those Federal roads were given to sons of the soil but they used the money and left the roads non motor-able. The second bridge across the Niger would make Onitsha even bigger. Andy Uba is a powerful man who had the ears of Obasanjo enough that he just took Saraki to get Obasanjo to solve his (Saraki's) mess, how much Federal infrastructure did he bring home? If all these powerful people do not fight for their region, how can anyone blame it on another tribe?

The matter of regionalism you talk about, is it not ironic that the late Northern Premier Ahmadu Bello fought tooth and nail to keep the regional governments stronger but Awo and Zik laughed and said he was not educated enough to see the reason why the centre should be stronger. When Ironsi made the Centre stronger by military fiat, look where it got us. The fact of the matter is if the will is there, any form of government can be screwed up and our individual greed is such that we can mess up regionalism as much as we have screwed up the present system. It is not the system, it is the people.

Do you have to insult people to make a point? A well raised person would not insult another in an intellectual discussion. You should go and re-read the thread you quoted and see the views of other people on your claim.

This issue is a very delicate one. I'm all for accepting other people and living in harmony and what not. I don't think ibis want to be a part of Nigeria. They do not realize that they have the most to lose if the secede. Case in point: I have this tribalist course mate who is ibo. He wasn't born a tribalist but his father influenced him to be that way. It hurts a lot when the only reason a person despises you is because of your tribe. I love IBO girls and I would hate to see them go and I think secession benefits no one but if that's what the ibos want then by all means let them have it. You can't force someone to love you. P.s I don't think all ibos are tribal lists but majority are.
