MrMcJay:In all my time in NL, no post has ever touched me like the quote above So true, so unique, so real that one can't help but think about everything u said above. I was beginning to think that perhaps PMB was begining to delay unnecessarily but your profound words just knock some bitter truth and sense into what d old man is doing behind d scene. Little wonder my people say "fire when dey burn girigiri nor dey 'done' food" Change is loading patiently. |

The rate at which our currency is been devalued this days calls for immediate reactions. I just pray that the case of this ZOO nation shall not be the case the ZIMBABWEANS. Mr. snail, the old dullardindo from the North is still busy transferring terrorists who should be killed (BOKO HARAM detainees) to the East. |

MrMcJay:Is Bloomberg also a TANoid ![]() Let's stop all these pre-election name-calling and labelling of any objective analysis and assessment of public officials. Elections were over since April 2015. Some of the people voicing opinion here were die-hard Buhari supporters, and voted for him. You don't own Buhari. He belongs to everybody. He does not need your protection. The expectations were pretty high, and Buhari knew this and assured the people he was more than equal to the task. The public expected the rot they will meet on the ground will be enormous. The assumption was that he will start on a clean slate, and he should not expect much by way of functioning systems. His election policy think-tank and various committees knew all these and more. They had access to lots of intelligence information on inner workings of GEJ govt, including confidential information on financial dealings and revenue accruing to govt. These classified info were used effectively during the campaigns. Why was all these info not used for planning for the new Buhari govt? They assured the nation they will even start running even before hitting the ground. Buhari even set up what amounted to a parallel govt after the results were announced. He could not wait for the inauguration and was eager to start. He even started making policy statements, receiving foreign envoys, and commenced diplomatic shuttles. At a point the then PDP govt had to warn him that he is running a parallel govt. So what exactly is holding Buhari down from moving after mounting the seat? El-Rufai seems to be making steady and good progress in Kaduna. These people were ready to kill, and actually killed in some instances to get into office at all levels. They must be ready to discharge the enormous duties of the office with the same favour they sought the office. Coming back to President Buhari. He tried to take this office 4 times. A man who attempted an exam 4 times cannot claim not to be ready for the outcome of an exam he tried 4 times to pass. It is like a child who attempted JAMB 4 times, and made it on the 4th attempt. After passing, he now seems confused when told to resume classes at the University. |

“He doesn’t say anything about anything,”This about sums everything up. Nigerians should not expect any tangible development or economic growth from Buhari, he really has nothing to offer and that is the honest and brutal truth, but some won't just admit it. Sometimes change can mean a completely different this, that is it doesn't necessary translates to success. If in doubt ask the Libyans, the Syrians, the Tunisians. Enough said. |

persius555:So before PDP Started ruling 16 yrs ago, Nigeria is a PARADISE ?? Whatever we face today started long time ago.... actually i dont know your age ![]() Its only a fool that does same thing over and over again and expect difference result. The time to change our system of governance is NOW!!! Federal system no longer working for Nigeria. The earlier we change the system the better |

You guys should just kept quiet, 1month out of 48months shouldn't be a criteria for judging the performance of someone in any endeavor of life... Though am a big fan of GEJ, I am positive Buhari will do justice to most of the things he promised.... You guys are going to make APC laugh at last, Buhari should be scrutinized if he hasn't done nothing but 1month is a very minute time to fix a country as corrupt, sick and vast like Nigeria |

Thanks to the social media of this era as the contraption can no more be hidden as it's used to in the past, particularly by a section of the country. The whole world is watching Buhari through the social media contents of mainly southern Nigerians Equally is the fact that the world is aware of all dissenting or pressure groups in the country, watching how Buhari reacts to them within the extant international laws. He rode on the back of hateful social media to power and same would be used to strongly checkmate him for the next 47 months Good |

Emekamex:All you that 'liked' this must be having the problem of the slow yourself if you didn't complain about Yar'adua. I detest Buhari for the inadequacy of his thinking (or may I say lack of aptitude?) in not appointing ministers yet. Try to remember, though, that it took Yar'adua almost eight months. Perhaps, we should stop electing Hausas. Anyway, I know you mother*fu*c*king f*o*o*ls are Ib*os. Still, when next are you f*u*ck*ers going to even sniff that exalted seat? I doubt that it may be in the next hundred years. It seems I'm just calling for another ban! |
