Please maam share more light on this, it was discussed here some pages back and someone authoritatively said the fact that you are entitled to 25% of your total balance 4 months after resignation is enough for AVO

My two cents is, if you can get someone to transfer the required amount to your account to suffice for your 'family of three'. Then tell them you just sold probably a land or car, (obviously you will provide a receipt or some sort of evidence of the transaction). It would great if you really do have something of similar value that you can sell to make up the amount they want to see and 'provide proof' of transaction.

Just a heads up, for a single applicant the required amount is around $11,898 (about 2 million, depending on the exchange rate these days) with this you can do the math on how much they will like to see in your account for a family of three..

The clock is ticking..

All the best.

We are now completing the assessment of your application for a permanent resident visa. It appears that you may not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada in the skilled worker category.

We have determined that you may be ineligible to Canada as a foreign national by virtue of the fact that you do not meet the Financials requirements necessary for a family of 4 (CAD$22,170) as outlined in section R76(1)(b) of the Immigration Refugee Protection Act and the Regulations:
The skilled worker must

(i) have in the form of transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or other obligations, an amount equal to one half of the minimum necessary income applicable in respect of the group of persons consisting of the skilled worker and their family members, or

(ii) be awarded points under paragraph 82(2)(a), (b) or (d) for arranged employment, as defined in subsection 82(1), in Canada.

Before we make a final decision, you may submit additional information relating to this issue. You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to pay the costs of living for your family (even if they are not coming with you). Valuations of current property are not acceptable as proof of available funds. You must have in the form of transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or other obligations. Send updated bank statements, fixed deposit certificates, etc. If you have made large deposits into your accounts or fixed term investments, you must provide evidence of where the funds originated.

Send updated bank statements, fixed deposit certificates, etc. If you have made large deposits into
your accounts or fixed term investments, you must provide evidence of where the funds

You have 30 days from the date of this letter to submit additional information to us. Please ensure that you quote the application number indicated at the top of this letter on any information you submit.

As stated above, you must provide any additional information within 30 days from the date of this letter. If you choose not to respond with additional information we will make our decision based on the information before us, which may result in the refusal of your application.

We look forward to receiving your additional information.

Thank you for the interest you have shown in Canada.

Hello house,
What could be the reason for AVO sending this mail to me after I sent them an updated statement of about #4260000 with evidence where the money came from. Could it be the statement is not enough for a family of 4 or they doubt the source of the fund. Thanks

Hi all ,
need your candid advice. I got a notification from Accra VO but did not know until over a month since the mail went straight to my sperm folder.
the mails states that I have 60 days to respond and update my status from single to married and add my wife.
I have 7 days to expiration of the 60 days my wife is proficient in english but has not IELTS test score
Should I send the update without any IELTS

thank you for your advice, what I meant by going that route is I will send evidence of a transaction like mozo said, I actually had a large amount deposited into my account but I did not submit my SOA instead I submitted a fixed deposit certificate, i'll submit a copy of the receipt.
if you have any other suggestion I would appreciate it. thanks

I beg to differ on your assumption in the context of what I said.

It's a race against time, and what I said is legal, choose to take from it what you will.

In summary, my input simply says sell something and provide proof.. Considering the limited time frame, it won't be a bad idea to have the money in the account and have an explanation how it got there which you can prove.

Kindly point out the irregularities in that?

If you didn't understand, you could have just asked for more clarity. Funny thing is the Person who asked understood what I meant.

I would not advise anyone to do anything that will hinder their chances. I believe we are all grown up and know right from wrong.

@ Animation, your wife doesn't need IELTS now since your application is already in process. Please send required document via courier ASAP.

It will end in praise.

Let's be honest, if you include your pension statement, it shows you have money in your pension account, but is the money 'readily available' to you?

It's just something they might ask.

You can withdraw your 25% and add to your personal account. And still include your pension account (which I think will show you have access to funds in future)

As usual, my two kobo.

Telling someone to get money from somewhere and put a notice of sale as evidence for the money when no such sale took place can backfire

Good evening all,

I completed the online EE form but i am yet to submit my application. Unilag is yet to conclude on the final approval of my completed M.Sc. program due to internal processes required before presenting it to Senate. Hence, no transcript can be produced/forwarded to WES until senate approves. My questions is:

1. Will i be able to update my educational information from my EE profile after submission?

2. If the answer is no, should i go ahead to submit with my B.Sc. or is it better to wait till when (i do not know) the result will be available?

P.S. I am hoping to apply for PNP to boost my CRS score.

3. Which provinces are good and available for international skilled worker without job offer in terms of economic and weather conditions?

Please what is the best thing to do. Thank you for your contribution.

If ur BSC has been assessed, then why not? What if the points drop considerable to ur score? In my opinion, if u have all required then enter the pool while u continue to improve ur points in one way or the other. Am sure the gurus will tell u more pertaining to updating or getting out of the pool and re-entering..

To withdraw 25% you have to be out of job for at least 4 months. If this doesn't conflict with your work experience entry in the EE, it's a good idea to process the 25% to current account. Note that Processing time is about a month.

Can those who say Pension funds cant be used for POF please enlighten us further
