price uniformity can't work here...all i think is needed is to have a database of trusted dealers here on NL...about private sellers, no need to verify them if they are not claiming to be dealers, because most buyers will go and inspect the car themselves which isn't the case of the dealers who ask of upfront fee.

okay. What I think is , a database by pre order dealers for pre order dealer isn't such an attractive idea . If seun wants his site to remain business conducive ,he has to step in sooner or later. I think the admin and mods have a role to play here , there should be 3 categories of car dealers and agents . There should be a category for top rated dealers and these should be ppl who have been doing this business on nl for a minimum of 5years and who have 95% positive resolution on customer complaints. The second category should be ppl who started maybe 2 years ago ,the last category will have to be new comers in it on nl. Ppl must take into consideration the nigerian factor and I believe it is better not to start something than to start something and fail . If a database is controlled by the players ,it is likely to create some sort of problems in future .

I totally agree with that idea, i will try and send a mail to the mods and Seun and hopefully, they will be willing to work with us to make NL a trusted place to buy a car.
