There was never light to watch NTA and even when there was NTA only opened at 16:30 to close at 00:00. The only way to entertain ourselves then was catching tadpoles, building cars from matchboxes, plucking mangoes by stoning or using long sticks, stoning lizards and finally playing football or performing cartwheels on the lawn.

When we switched over to dstv and bought videogames no one cared to play outside again. Even my nephews and nieces prefer to stay indoors watching cartoons than going out to play. I believe things're better this way as the children are safer indoors and easier to control.
