lancee: The bear is essential but the most important thing is to have reserve to buy...............You remember when the stocks were not moving down after taking profits in August, everybody was praying for a bear.........Every year is the same story......The only looser in this game is the indecisive, panic seller and insolvent traders.............Because when bulls finally comes the investors with focus will definitely reap from their investment....... 1 Like |

Crude oil price per a barrel and price of naira to dollar are moving factors in the Nigeria stock exchange market for now, when oil price increases stocks price increases, likewise when oil price decreases stock price decreases. If oil price fall to 30 dollar per a barrel, stock price will also fall with that margin. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stokfrick: 2:52pm On Dec 08, 2015 |
Its so annoying and unfortunate that the natural interplay b/w demand and supply is not allowed to determine price on the NSE. How would u explain d fact DAT a stock which opened at 6.10, was bid up to 6.20, was last bought at 6.20 and was supposed to close at that price, instead of allowing it to close normally, the useless market makers for no reason brought it back to 6.10. I repeat, NSE is not ripe for genuine market making and as such the day it was introduced was the day NSE was killed. That's why u can hardly find any growth stocks on the NSE. Gone are those days when you could do so! |

http://energymixreport.com/oil-slumps-6-to-near-7-year-low-on-opec-inaction/ Oil slumps 6% to near 7-year low on OPEC inaction Crude oil futures tumbled 6% on Monday, reaching their lowest in nearly seven years, after OPEC failed to address a growing supply glut, while a stronger dollar made it more expensive to hold crude positions, Reuters reports. Brent and U.S. crude settled at or near February 2009 lows in belated reaction to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries’ (OPEC) policy meeting on Friday which ended without an agreement to lower production. WTI, the West Texas Intermediate benchmark for U.S. crude CLc1, settled down $2.32 at $37.65 a barrel. That was its lowest settlement since February 2009, and after reaching a session low of $37.50. While Brent LCOc1, the global crude benchmark, settled down $2.27 at $40.73, after striking a February 2009 low of $40.60. |

Chibuking81: You are very very correct.Thats the angle i wanted to hit.if the price of oil hits $30 by next year that means the bears we are seeing now as an opportunity to enter the market will turn to be the bull of next year. By then FBN we are seeing at #4.66 now will be 2.50 or even lesser. Those of you entering now pls trade cautiously becos there is no solid plan from OPEC to stablize the price of oil.Lets just pray the oil price will go up from january,if not all these our analysis here will become useless. I hope you people have one thing or the other you are doing to make a living.pls dont depend 100% on stocks for now.massive selloff is going on now and it is never a good sign. The interpretation of these selloff is SELL now and BUY later at lesser price which means those of them dumping now is dumping at good profits and will like to force the price down to make their re-entry price attractive. If you have #100,000 to buy 25,000 units of FBN at #4.00,divide the money into two,use #50,000 to take care of ur xmas and the remaining #50,000 you can put in FBN by January based on the price of the oil by then.if the price of oil reduces that meanss with your #50,000 you may get up to 17,000 units of FBN which you would have bought at #100,000. i am not a prophet but i am telling you guys what may come to pass.country economy hard now oooooo.we who are into diversified biz are the ones making it.just last week i told my broker i will like to bring #5,000,000 for FBN.If you see the way they are calling me for the deal, you will know that all is not well with them and the stock market and if i have bought FBN last week at #5.00,sorry would have been my name. PLS DONT TAKE THIS ADVICE FOR GRANTED.MONEY IS KING. |
