I did. And yes it could not have been enough I agree. But votes shouldn't have been the only means of rating them. Everybody knows that voting can be like penalty kicks in a football match. Winning fit miss road. Voting should've just been a part point and other areas too some parts.

Vote or no vote, the world, including reekado the winner knows that the award belongs to Lil kesh.

Dude get it right, Olamides rant was meant for everyone and not the Organizers alone. The show was being televised and everyone was watching. Don jazzys protégé just won and Olamide wanted to make a statement and also embarrass the headies organisers and take a swipe at Don jazzy at the same time.
When Kanye west pulled this same stunt the entertainment world came down hard on him despite his status on the entertainment industry. Who is Olamide to storm the stage and spew trash like that as if lil kesh is the next best thing since fried chicken.

Mavins has 2 artists on that list and YBNL had 1, plus the whole thing was based on votes and personal views outside the headies organisers and clearly many detest the lewd lyrics from lil kesh. He is just a kid yet has his head in the wrong place. All he sings about are things you need to block your kids ear for yet some want him rewarded for lewd lyrics?

Rekardo banks has been silently consistent and clean. His video even won the best video production (I think thats the one) he worked hard last year and stayed clean and to me deserved the award.

How could Olamide come on stage and say Iya yin to everyone and claim he was referring to the organisers. Don Jazzy said it as I would have said it had I been him. Everyone heard and saw olamide speak so mentioning his name was proper .... abi na me climb stage say iya yin on the mic?

Anyway, Reekado banks doesn't deserve that award neither does Lil kesh deserves it, even though Lil kesh is street and fan's favourite. Kiss Daniel is still worthy of that award. I thought they said it was voting. Even if the fans has to choose between Rekaado Banks and Korede Bello, Korede Bello will definitely win.

Honestly they need to cancel that award, this is a bad reputation for them, no big stars at this event anymore
