That's not fair!

Why didn't you pay? It's not even mandatory to give birth for obudo oyinbo....u could have waited till u can. Even if u decided to do it in bits!! And to think u wanna go back to repeat same is just pure undiluted wickedness. No wonder dis pple begin scrutinize upandan.

I think u should meet the gurus and pray. Let ur mind and conscience guide u all the way.

All the best.

Sylolo, yours is a case of uncommon favour. The odds of coming across a CBP officer from you town...All I can say is, Wow! It could never have been a coincidence. Congrats on the successful journey

sylolo:
OUR INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT
CBP Officer: Oh, he might not know me. Tell him to call me because he might be interested in joining the Nigerian Tribal Association here.
And he stamped Wifey in for 6 months without checking any document or Cash. He did not even ask about cash. Though Wifey was with $9925 (I had already taken $75 from the $10k in Naija to save her from the Customs stress over there. She spent less than 5mins with the CBP Officer. There was no secondary inspection whatsoever. This was her first time travelling to the US.
Wifey got to Customs where her bags were not checked. The Officer just asked if her foodstuffs were blended and she answered “yes”.
That was all. Testimony No.3

Chairman you get mind o. I usually won't judge but you self check am na, you've been owing 12k5 for 4 years and thought no one would ask questions and you still wan go do the same thing again? Why didn't you go into a payment plan with the hospital. If you were paying an average of $300 per month since 2012 you would have finished clearing your debt since. Bros make we talk true, what you did was wrong. And that you even had the liver to reapply...

Your wife will likely be placed on a ban or she'll be granted her visa. Hope for the best but expect the worst.

Hmmmn.

There is a huge possibility that the unpaid bill reflects in their system. Four yrs is too long for that unpaid bill not to have been sent to collections. If your wife attends that interview, she faces a likelihood of being ban. I will advice you postpone the interview and look for a way to pay your bill, or pay the bill before the interview date, or forfeit the interview in totality and wait till when you've been able to settle your bills. Or choose the devvils option and let her go for the interview, two things will happen, she either ends up being denied, ban or granted the visa. So you can hope for the best and pray. God is still in the business of doing miracles

A stranger wants to host you? As in you're not going to pay for rent?
1) The rule is: be consistent with your story. If you've said you don't know anyone, then don't show up at CBP saying you suddenly found an angel willing to house you for 3 months.
2) For your own safety, it's not advisable to carry all that cash and your vulnerable self to go and live with someone you don't know. You know what they say about awoof? Safety first please

I disagree with the context with which you have used the bolded. Yes, God performs miracles but to imply that He does that in lieu of us (or in this case, the OP) doing the right thing is incorrect.

Hello everyone, a quick one please....i'll be due in July and intend travelling to the U.S in May. The issue is my visa will expire in July. Should I just go for the drop box or write a letter to the embassy because my fear is I could be stamped in for 2 months to leave the U.S in July which wouldn't give me ample time to get baby's documents and all. Thanks

Has anyone been in this situation before? Please help me sister.

Hellos...I've replied your PM.

Wrong info oo!!! Had my baby in Delaware and it takes one to two weeks.

Anyone going to Delaware can also use DCMH in Philadelphia it's about 45min drive and it cost ( both VD 2days stay and CS 3days stay) $7,500 all inclusive except anesthesia cost around $1000.

i will take the high road and ask the poster whose wife has been invited for an interview this question; did you pay $7k as part of your bills or was it discounted and 12,500 was taken off leaving only 7k which you paid? if you paid 7k as your full discounted bill, then did you get a zero balance receipt? if you did, then she will be fine at the interview. if you did pay a full discounted 7k bill but do not have a zero balance receipt then contact the hospital and get one somehow before the interview.
if on the contrary, you paid 7k as part payment of the total and you are yet to settle that bill, then please do yourself a favour and cancel your appointment and re-schedule for a later date when you would have contacted the hospital and worked out a payment plan.
