papparatzzi2013:Do you have a different meaning for "ruins and tatters"? The following SAMPLES surely mean PROGRESS to fellow citizens whose brains have not been swept by APCshit's winchious broom, turning them into zombies. madridsta007:THE FG SHARE OF THE ECA IS 52% WHY DID SHE SPEND IT Not only did she spend it by late 2014 The FG had to borrow $1 billion to fight Boko Haram Well I am not comparing anyone or did I .Let us keep it short to avoid diversion. Which University dit Innoson attend ? It is irrelevant so do not compare Why are you bringing up comparison? and telling me not to I did not and clearly you wish to change the subject The matter is simple Iweala was our worst Finance Minister Even Ibori would be better What was the state of the ECA when she entered office and when she left. People continue talking about Governors when the FG share of that account is 52 % |

. How does a mere video interview got to do with comparison. We're tired of this rubbish, how does it correlates to performance? What about if their laudable economical blueprints doesnt affects the economy positively. These are all trash, we need results not grammar. |

omonnakoda:If the share of the Government's ECA was taken or used by NOI, in any ILLEGAL way, the current Government would have SINCE made it public and asked for her arrest. However, they can not as she acted within the ambit of the law and, thankfully, still has possession of documents and signed approvals of the ECA spend. Ask yourself why the FG has used flimsy propaganda to chase her- propaganda which they have ceased to use, as she released facts to embarrass them? She works for major international agencies- if there was any proof of theft against her, why has the government not issued an international arrest warrant via Interpol on her? These things have very simple international procedures, you see. The government can't because, understandably, aside the weak propaganda it feeds gullible Nigerians with, it has nothing in terms of facts against NOI. The major problem with our present unitary system are the Governors, some of whom, have budgets larger than many African countries- according to a report by the BBC. Instead of Buhari using his assumed anti-corruption notoriety to pursue and investigate these ones, he however blessed them with a bail out. |

Marcelini:How shallow can you be? The president just commissioned 40 projects financed by that debt. Those projects will keep making Ogun State the number 1 investment destination and most industrialized state in Nigeria. Having debt is not a sin. Show me any developed country without sovereign debt. Just 1. |

Ask yourself why they are never specific with names and numbers. Please we all have brains to use and think. Think with your brains and stop getting fooled by an inept government. |
Even without watching the video, I will take Kemi or any other person in preference for the overhyped NOI. Where was NOI who was the coordinating minister for the economy when Dasuki, CBN, Diezanni and those thieves masquerading as Service Chiefs were busy swallowing our common wealth? Where was the paper heavy weight finance expert when tax relief and waivers were granted on luxury goods imported into the country? Where was she when our SWF and ECA were being depleted? If she had any honor while she held sway, she would have resigned honorably than watch on helplessly. Ngizi was a scam! So ngozi okojo iweala is now EFCC to look into dasuki or military spending? Continue regressing your cerebrum. Issorait. |

madridsta007:But it was illegal because it was not budgeted for, we all know this.Is that the only illegality? The ECA itself was unconstitutional so what are we talking about?.What about the Abacha money and raiding the CBN were those in the budget? Am I here to speak for the government or have I said I think this government is clean. You folk assume everyone is partisan like you. Well sorry to burst your bubble I am neutral and not a supporter of Buhari or Adeosun. I just know no one can be worse than Iweala she takes the Akara |
And what did Ngozi achieve for our economy despite unprecedented earnings during her time apart from "rebasing" that resulted in us becoming largest African economy ON PAPER? Under her and GEJ, Nigeria had to borrow to pay salaries in March and April of 2015. What did ngozi achieve? Incase you don't know Nigeria became biggest in economy in terms of GDP 2014(under NOI) |
[b]If you understand the scientific method, you won't be stating this. We have about 8 years track record of Ngozi as finance minister all under high to very high oil prices. Nigeria failed to diversify it's oil dependent, import based economy under her. That is enough to draw a conclusion that Ngozi cannot manage a economy in surplus times. Kemi inherited one of the worst economies in recent times with tanked oil price and forex drain from fighting insurgency in the North-East. She is yet to even spend 1 year on the job. It is too early to judge her performance especially since her situation is more challenging than Ngozi's. But from the videos above, it is clear that Ngozi's temperament is not fit for a finance minister in difficult times. Scientific method? A economy? Ah brother change your lifestyle oooo. |

I am for fresh blood in the system....young ones at that. The butter truth us that the free fall of the naira is not helping thus cause. I do not like Ngozi for anything. She knows her job...like Mourinho does, and like him she us a big head. Unfortunately I am beginning to loose confidence in her. Kemi needs to collaborate extensively, consult as many pris as possible. I just font like thus particular mountain..... we need to act fast. |

| Re: Kemi Adeosun Vs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Video Comparison by madridsta007(m): 7:53pm On Feb 21, 2016 |
omonnakoda:I am not partisan, my friend. I find these comparisons quite inane and unnecessary. The ECA was funds put aside for 'rainy days'. You see it is all about wisdom. Are you a Christian? Do you know that putting away excess savings for later days, was the concept Joseph used in saving Egypt from famine? Norway has about $700bn in a sovereign fund. They had started saving decades ago, hence theirs is that much. Most oil producing countries have such funds; hence, out of 40 oil producing countries or so, you find Nigeria only wailing about the drop in oil prices. The ECA might have been unconstitutional, but it was common-sense. Your governors messed that common sense reasoning up, and to hang their mess on NOI is simply ridiculous. |
