Don't even go as far as the NFF, enomakos here is even saying Siasia is going to Rio with "his boys". This will mean most of the players that we have been tipping to be part of the golden generation will nt be in Rio and that will definitely derail the much expected transition into the anticipated Golden Generation.

In as much as I know such things happen and also that enomakos is jst saying it as his own opinion or view, the fact is coaches do that.

I would only wish for Siasia to go for our best legs.

Then I can categorically state that he would be doing Nigerians a great disservice if he goes with 80% of that squad.

Draw a starting 11 of Nigerian U23s doing well all over the world and u'll see that virtually none (except the goalie) of those CAF U23 would make the list.

See, u cannot say any player is d best for a particular position until that player is capped and plays a couple of competitive games.

U guys talk as though we have no defenders at all in d Super Eagles that u'll mention untested players and claim they are d best options.

Right now, he is probably the best option based on who is playing well and regularly at a decent level. I have seen a bit of him and he is very good. I think the best right backs in Europe based on regular game time and quality are Ehizibue and Odubajo

U can only wish for the Super Eagles coaches to invite him to d national team and see how he (d player) fits in. He being d best option would b determined by his performance after a series of matches.

The Youngsters u guys jst mentioned, includiing Awaziem, may b our future prospects bt i dnt think they are currently our best defense options yet.

Of course, but based on the performances in Europe, these are the best options. How they will fit into the team is another issue and it is not down to just talent. It depends on how they are used and how quickly they settle into the team.

If Awaziem can make the first team of FC Porto and picks a regular starting place, he is good enough to make the Super Eagles, forget the under 23s.. It is not as if our super eagles are that great.

Coaches invite players that are on form and playing regularly.

When you invite them, then you can see how they can fit into a system. But accessing who is the best option available is by looking at what they are doing.

He starts for Porto good for him. But remember Iheanacho, Iwobi and Sadiq Umar have started a couple of games for City, Arsenal & Roma respectively yet they are nt yet being considered d best options for d Super Eagles.

Playing for d national team is quite different from playing for club.

In the game against Egypt if u were d coach u'll start Awaziem at Centre back and Ehizibue at right back?

It is nt out of place Rating d likes of Mohammed, Odubanjo, Ehizibue and Awoziem against other U23 Players like Madu,Amuzie, Omeruo, Troost-Ekong, Seth & Shehu Abdullahi. If the former mentioned Players would find it difficult displacing d later mentioned players then what are we talking abt?

My view is this bunch of players are promising and talented bt i cannot consider them as d best options for which ever position dey play.

Below is my best option for d Super Eagles defense for our next 2 games:

Balogun..Ambrose..Omeruo..Madu/Echiejile.

Ambrose and Balogun may switch positions in another option of set-up. I dnt believe Awaziem is yet a best option from amongst d centre backs we have in d team. Awaziem can b sent an invitation bt i dnt expect him to play a major role in d Egypt game even if invited.

Awaziem commands a starting position in the heart of defense which is the most risky place to start a youngster for a regular champions league team. It is not the same with Iheanacho, Iwobi or Umar. Iheanacho based on his form is also good enough for the super eagles but Ighalo is the most prolific striker right now.

It is one thing to be good enough and another to be thrown into a competitive game on your debut. You need to get used to your teammates and style of play but based on current form and regular game time, Nigeria's back four should be:

Ehizibue Balogun Awaziem Uwa

Young, pacy and would get better playing together.

I am not saying the next game but invite them, see how they do in training and gradually ease them in.

I think Awaziem is good enough for the Super Eagles, talkless of the Olympics. Defending for Porto is a big deal and that tells a lot of the talent of the young man.

Coach Siasia should invite him to camp and see if he is good enough to blend with the team.

Remember Coach Keshi and a young teenage Omeruo. The young man did not take time to blend and he displaced one of the longest serving defenders and the Captain of the Super Eagles.

Yes bt Omeruo was nt labeled "best option" until he played a couple of matches. That is jst my point.

Awaziem, if called up should prove to us he is d best option at centre back. Nt before he makes his international debute.

U can for now only say he has d potential of becoming a best centre back option and nt that he is already our best centre back option even without any invitation yet.

Yea i'm aware of him, miss of the century guy. He likes to get forward and can score. Only issue is that he is a dual citizen and has never played for Nigeria so we don't know where his mind is at.
