Appointments is absolute rubbish to any discerning mind with a sense of Nigerian history, after all with all the appointments made by GEJ to the SE (mainly) and the SS, how did that translate into any meaningful development in these regions?.... Instead after GEJ lost the elections, some dude wakes up from London and incites the people that it is the hausa-fulani and yoruba who are responsible for the lack of development even while you still hail and prefer appointments over tangible projects.

So I ask with a sense of history, apart from the individual appointees who get to fill their pockets, who appointment don hep?... Which region wey appointment don hep?... For Christ sake I am talking of developmental projects here and not some flimsy appointments.

Mr Oba ilala If appointment is Absolute rubbish as you call, why don't you hausas and yorubas give all the appointment to the SE and SS and ask for "meaningful projects". If they are not important why have the north killed over it. I hate pretentious bigots who think they can mask their chauvinist views in the garb of objectivity. Do you really think people throw away their brain when reading your post. If you have a morsel of viable brain mass, you will know why i dissected your name for all to clearly read. Therein lies what you are, and not what you claim you are. Your deceit can not work. cheesy cheesy

It's in our (SE/SS) best interest. You can't take what belong to the 5%ers and give to the 95%ers, that is called Injustice and foul play. Buhari should enjoy his govt with the money gotten from cow milk...

How did they achieve this strategic feat of shutting off refineries and cutting Gas supply to Lagos and Abuja 24 hours after taking out 1 billion dollars daily from our national purse?

The fact is, we have no country to call ours other than Nigeria. If the country gets better, it will be to our collective glory. Just like when Nigeria wins world cup, all Nigerians shares the glory together including north, east, south south and south west. If the economic conditions continues to deteriorate, all Nigerians will suffer it as well. Americans, Germans and other developed economies out their got their growing economic indices from one thing, "Patriotic Citizens". It is part of their culture, way of life. It is the reason why Americans and these developed economy continue to make movies that celebrates patriotic Citizens. The objective is really to reinforce the ideas and ideals of patriotism. Watch movie like "Edgar Hoover" and you get what im talking about.

I agree with your point on federal government. They need to treat citizens as equal. They need to lead by example, ensure needs of all citizens matters and becomes their utmost priorities.
I believe a responsible government can achieve this. It start with strong ideas, purposeful planning and careful execution. If we want Nigeria to work, there has to be structural and systematic patriotism. There is no way around it.
Nigeria was never meant to be and can never be no matter how long we try to pretend. For how long shall we continue to condone the herd mentality of the fulanis and fanatical Muslims in a pretentiously one Nigeria

They don't have to, we don't want them to. At least, Anambra and Abia are showing healthy signs of sustenance and independence. Other states I'm not so sure of but Imo has oil and should be fine on their own. As much as the NDA are standing for what they believe, in a new country, I believe in everyone managing their own resource.
