Make I no lie, the answer sef pass me.

Can you help us out? Being an Economics student and all....
devaluation is a reduction in the exchange value of a currency by a lowering of its value relative to another currency
Devaluation of naira is a step in the right direction in the sense that it increase and it promotes export and it discourages import to an extent.
devaluation of naira protects Nigeria domestic industries by making imports more
expensive.
It also has its negative sides, if import is expensive as a result of devaluation, it leads to inflation in the country.
Capisce!

Lol. Someone messed up and answered their questions wrongly and another did exceptionally well to theirs, fine. No need to make an issue out of the exercise, you can settle for the ones who did justice to their question without rubbishing the ones who we perceived faired poor.

If one already have a candidate no matter how they faired they'd stand by them while they score others poorly. It's not that serious. We all have just one vote bikonu.

Technically, there had been no devaluation until today, but Inflation has been on a steady rise Quarter on Quarter (13.7% vs 15.6% now), so how do you correlate your last statement?

Inflation is the continuous rise in the price of goods and services. The inflation we are experiencing in the country was not caused by devaluation rather it was caused by other factors that causes inflation which are many.
Nigeria is experiencing a galloping inflation and it has nothing to do with devaluation, but with devaluation, inflation will increase at a higher percentage.

Considering Nigeria's over dependence on importation, you think devaluation is good for Nigeria?

Do you really believe de valuing the Naira will help curb this economic hardship?
