To me, seems the demerits may be more: Their currency has crashed to all low in 31years and there is tendency it will depreciate more after this decision. Also it may discourage foreign investors frm investing in the country. Football arm will no doubt be affected.

What has saying the truth got to do with this? My only issue with that statement is that he generalised. So let me help him paraphrase " Most Nigerian Politicians are fantastically corrupt " even if he generalised, a vast majority that represents this country globally are politicians, suffice to say he was making a valid point from a sane angle.

How many of our politicians honorably resign from a political position when things do not fall in place with their job, I really expect a man like fashola to resign honorable as his input in the power sector cannot light a candle, but instead they choose to sit tight like it's their birthright to rule. Why on earth must they wait to be sacked or impeached, or blackmailed or forced into resigning. That is only the surface; his action has already placed the entire UK union in jeopardy because both Scotland and Wales have predominantly voted to remain in Europe while the English majority voted to exit; therefore likely to reawaken separatist movements for the two former countries to want to break away again - Britain and David Cameron have made a big mistake to go out of Europe.
