I do not know the proprietary or otherwise of changing program after submission of study permit application.

I honestly don't know the implication of that.

The only thing that I know that is remotely related to this issue is "Transfer from one DLI to another" and I know that CIC has guildlines for that.

People who are vast in this subject should kindly address this issue. Biko grin

Still don't know CIC's intentions, people from other countries especially Indians have been getting their TRVs using PGC why is naija's own different cos I don't think they r much better than us. They av much more population than us with a corrupt system.

You cant compare the number of applicants from naija to india, i fink we av more applicants from naija dan india, d processing time says more 2 dat.

Thanks for your response.

But the truth is, I was never denied visor nor entry. I had gone and come back before the cancellation, you know.
So do I need to say YES to if one has been denied visa or entry into another country or Canada?

I'm so confused, don't want to make mistakes. Or should I just probably leave out the US travels as part of history and just stick to my dubai experience?

Regards.

Do not leave out your travel history to the US. CIC would find out eventually cos they share info with US govt. If CIC finds out that you withheld information, that could be fatal to the credibility of your entire application.

The question is simple; were you ever denied visa/entry to a country? The answer is no. Cancellation of visa is different from refusal of visa/entry. Flowing from your post, you were never removed from the US, you were never refused entry into the US. You left there willingly.

However, it gets complicated, cos if a VO get a wind of the fact that your US visa was cancelled, he/she's curiousity may be aroused and may take steps to find out why your visa was cancelled hence further and intense investigation of your travel history to the US. The outcome of such investigation may determine/affect the credibility of your application.

My advice is for you to write a separate letter explaining the circumstances surrounding the cancellation of your US visa. alternatively, you can just answer the questions on the study permit application and hope the VO doesn't find out about the cancellation of your visa.

Buh I can assure you US and Canada share intelligence particularly as it relates to border control.

haha...This is absolutely wrong..

We no reach one quarter of people we dey apply from india..

We wait longer because accra processes application of about 5 countries including nigeria.
India alone has about 3 centres that process their applications.....

Well said, what'll u now say about South Africa processing time of 16weeks does it mean they receive huge applications as well which i think they don't cos an average South African man doesn't leave his country like the way we Nigerians do and they don't av our population as well.
