Please I Need Advice...... She Is A Single Mum by bilulu(op): 8:05pm On Sep 14, 2016
I met this girl and we started chatting and later became close. I asked her out and before accepting she said she has a child. On hearing this my mind became so heavy to the extent that I felt heartbroken. Should I continue with this girl because I really like this girl?.... please I needed your candid advice.

would you have wanted it if she said she had an abortion or you mean to tell me that since you have been in the game, you have not put any girl in a family way. Having said that this kind stuff puts heavy moral burden on our girls making the rate of same sex relationship and other pervertual acts to increase cause they feel that such way they get sexual relief and don't run the risk of getting pregnant

Her loyalty and attention will belong first to her child then you come in second. If you can accept this, go ahead.

lalasticlala pls help out
my dear brother i will advice you to continue because with the sound of your voice you truly love her, single mum or not, thats not a cretaria, if you are comfortable with her character, then dont think twice because even d ones with no kids has aborted and the ones that seems to be virgin has akward character, so no one is perfect, even u..! your problem with her should be her assuring you that she won't go back to her EX.. and pls advice her to give the kid to the fada if you really want to settle with her #bestADVICE

[b] alright!!!
when you want to date a single mother, You have to consider the following things:
Age of the child!
The location of the father!
The "relationship" status of the father!
Your friends and family!

Its easy to look at it and say! Sure why not(when you haven't laid with her) but after eating the fruit!
"Reality will set in", i asked you, For your age cause its usually men that want to settle down that consider what you are considering

look at it this way, she will "never" fully have your time
The father will always have access to her, can easily lay with her if he wants funny enough!
She will leave you in a "heart beat" for him
The child wont like you at first, he / she will be very negative to you(that may change over time)

if the child is in the village (like in most cases) i will advice you to forget about her!

Sit down and ask yourself if you handle all that and decide! #its your life!

@OP

Beibg a single mother is not a disease - this however doesn't mean that I will encourage an unmarried ladies to intentionally get pregnant and have babies out of wedlock, no.

As far as I'm concerned, attitude is the key. And I don't see how any person be it a male/female who has tested se.x out of wedlock is better than such a lady.

I'd rather choose a single mother who tick at least 60 percent of the boxes in what I need in a wife over a virgin/tested lady that couldn't tick up to 50 percent of the boxes.

U did not say what u wanted out of the relationship...U have to define the relationship.... Is it the one just for companionship or a long term serious one that might lead to marriage....

Definition is important in every relationship.... although i must say that there is no stigma anymore hanging on being a single parent.... a lot of people adopt kids this days........

Re: Please I Need Advice...... She Is A Single Mum by DozieInc(m):
Bruh it's a tricky business .
In most cases the child may not pose the problem, but the mother, while you're in love it also right to be realistic and ask concrete questions.
1.What is her relationship like with the father of her child?? either he is dead or she must assure you that she has no intention of going back.
3. How often do they communicate??
2. Will she be committed to the relationship?? by seeing you as part of her "family"
3.Are you ready to accept her child as your own??

If these questions are answered, then you have to work on your relationship with her child, let's face it, initially the child may seem distant, but your love and understanding may prove the glue in your relationship, thereby strengthening the bond amongst you.

***Please seek the advice and counsel of matured member of your immediate community, somebody you can confide in.
