your are right

I know of one. Her 3 years Visa to Canada expired last March. Before the visa that just expired, she has had 1 month and 6 months visas to Canada in addition to UK and US Visas. To sum it up, she has strong ties in Canada. Her elder sister is a permanent resident holder. This lady visited the school while in Canada and got her offer letter in less than a week.

At the end, CIC screwed her badly. They faulted her purpose of visit among others.

I really like your positive thoughts about opportunities in Naija, which is true... my view is that many young people don't take enough advantage of them.

But bros, have you been to Naija recently or do you have family there? Naija is very hard particularly for young people. Very hard, and it just got much harder with the anemic Naira. It is very hard for the average person to be successful in Naija, especially without connections or very rich parents.

I'm not saying one can't be successful in Naija. I have friends that are extremely well-paid in Naija, but a majority of the people I know at home (including some really brilliant people) are literally suffering or barely living from hand to mouth.

While I would advise anyone in Naija to maximize their potential there, I also would strongly advise any young Nigerian below/around 30-yrs-old to explore beyond the shores of our country for educational opportunities. The world is a global village now, and even if one wants to live in Nigeria forever it is extremely valuable to see the world. Education is one of the best ways to immerse oneself into another culture. You only live once. Cheers bro. grin

Baba nla u're absolutely right...
But, people always think Nigerians in Diaspora don't feel the issues and Economy recession in the Country, we do bro...
All I'm saying is that, everything is not about traveling abroad, people go and get caught up in many different shitts all bcuz the wanna escape Poverty in Nigeria...

Any way no be way o
Canada is good, a very great Country for immigration, If I have my way, I will love to take all my friends, relatives to Canada cheesy..
But, how do you explain people going to Italy, Yemen, Senegal, Estonia etc
Or going to Indonesia/Malaysia to push drugs

Most Nigerians are too preoccupied with the notion of just traveling abroad to hustle....
Everywhere no be abroad oo- literally speaking...

Hello All,

I am applying for Student Visa online. I did a questionnaire and was given a document checklist. This document checklist has no where I can upload my transcripts, letter from employer and upfront police report which i did. Been looking for how to add extra documents as im trying to make my process as fast as possible. Is there a way to go round this or can i still upload them later?

Thanks

hello All,

My course has a co-op semester. when applying for study visa online i was asked "Is work an essential component of your studies?" which i answered yes. Now when i try to do a co-op work permit application online it just directs me to my study application (yet to submit). Because i answered yes to that question does it mean i will get a study and co-op permit same time or how does it work?

You can put your transcripts under LOA. All my academic docs went there then police clearance was under LOE along with SOP and others . You can also include yr employers letter there though for me, it was a study leave approval.

The person must be in canada for this link above and its 5cad$. It takes one(1) month but atimes it comes out before the one month elapse.if they v so many applications it might enter the 2nd month.you can see everything about canada is time consuming..people here that have got TRV and already in canada should equally be helping us out with this GCMS order. This is the essence of helping each other here.

Yes if it is a requirement on your visa LOA. Yes again if your tuition payment deadline falls within the visa processing time and state this clearly on your SOP.

Lots of people here made either first semester or full session tuition payment and were still refused visa. Whereas there are some who didn't pay a dime and got TRV.
