How does your bible read Ps 2:12: 'Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him' because it talks about the Son of God that is worthy of all worship and Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus Christ is fully God like here: 'In his very nature he was God. Jesus was equal with God. But Jesus didn’t take advantage of that fact. Instead, he made himself nothing. He did this by taking on the nature of a servant. He was made just like human beings. He appeared as a man. He was humble and obeyed God completely. He did this even though it led to his death. Even worse, he died on a cross! Phil 2:6-8 (NRSV) I highlighted nature so that you would see that Jesus is God as another Person but the same in essence (nature) which affirms '...God is one' (Deut 6:4). So, God is one in essence, a separate person of God is fully God that is why the verse above says Jesus equal with God. You are no less of a man/human being than I am, we are only apart and may have different roles. Jesus confirmed the three persons in the Godhead when He commanded baptism in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.(Matt 28:19). Also, in Genesis, God said let Us create man. This indicates activity that involves more than One Person and you would agree that it wasn't the angels God was talking to. Also, from the account of creation the bible describes the events ...the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit-God) was on the surface of the deep and God (Father) said (the Word -God as Jesus Christ see John 1... 'and Word became flesh and dwelt among men'). Jesus also said 'before Abraham was, I am' (John 8:58). How is the Holy Spirit God and Person not active/life force? 'And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption' (Eph 4:30). I'm sure you can agree that the no one can grieve a force. Also in John 14 Jesus says: 'But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you' (John 14:26) The advocate cannot simply be a 'force' can it? Another one, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, Spirit of Truth, Spirit of Jesus and if we go by 'God is Spirit...'(John 4:24) We should know that God's Spirit is in Person. In John 15:26 '...He will testify about me...' The Holy Spirit is God as in Acts 4:3-4 'Ananias,' Peter asked, 'why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit...You did not lie to us but to God!' Jesus is fully God, referred to in John 1 as the Word of God, and is worthy of all worship as God. The Holy Spirit is God and when you become born again you become baptised in the Spirit of God (1 Cor 12:13). And there is no way you are born again by the Spirit that He will not testify of Jesus Christ. Probably why JWs have these misconceptions about Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I will encourage you to seek Jesus Christ, do some research for the truth about Jesus Christ. Do not look for fruitless arguments look for truth. God bless you. 'for though they knew God, they did not honour Him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their senseless minds were darkened, claiming to be wise, they became fools' (Romans 1:21-22) Peacefullove: |

DoctorAlien:yes it agrees, it does not alter the or contradict the scriptures I quoted to you(which you can't explain anyway) Joh 10:18No man takes it away from me, but I surrender it of my own initiative. I have authority to surrender it, and I have authority to receive it again. This commandment I received from my Father.” almighty God, the supreme being, the most high , does not receive commandments from anyone! |
see the question , see your answer. answer my question. SHOW ME WHERE JESUS SAID HIS FATHER IS THE ONLY TRUE GOD. ][ color=blue] I didnt ask for all these, simple thing according to your ' yes " show me where Jesus is called true God , if you cant find it . it means he is not True God . for example the Jewish God always make sure he is called true God most times , how come such cant be found for Jesus , admit he is a False God ?Jesus is the true God, he is the mighty God of Jacob! So according to you God gave a FALSE god All authority and power and also told angels to worship a FALSE god and told us to honor a FALSE god the same way we honor him. ![]() |

DoctorAlien:I quoted some scriptures to you bet you did not read them, neither could you answer the questions ,here they are again: pls, tell me what you understand by these verse: (on the same issue of commandment) Joh 15:10If you observe my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have observed the commandments of the Father and remain in his love. Jesus observes the fathers commandments , does the almighty God observe other persons commandment? for better understanding of what Jesus said, read the following verses : Joh 15:15I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master does. But I have called you friends, because I have made known to you all the things I have heard from my father Joh 12:49 For I have not spoken of my own initiative, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment about what to say and what to speak. Joh 14:10Do you not believe that I am in union with the Father and the Father is in union with me? The things I say to you I do not speak of my own originality, but the Father who remains in union with me is doing his works. Joh 17:6“I have made your name manifest to the men whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have observed your word. Joh 17:7Now they have come to know that all the things you gave me are from you; Joh 17:8 because I have given them the sayings that you gave me, and they have accepted them and have certainly come to know that I came as your representative, and they have believed that you sent me. YOU ASK QUESTIONS , YET YOU REFUSE TO EXAMINE SCRIPTURES THAT GIVES YOU THE ANSWER. Joh 14:15“If you love me, you will observe my commandments. Jesus gave his followers commandments, those commandments does not mean Jesus is the almighty God, as Jesus as said several times, all he says (including the commandments)comes from his God, he is sent by his God to pass certain messages and instructions to mankind, to those who his God gave him on earth. read the preceeding verses for better understanding! Joh 14:10Do you not believe that I am in union with the Father and the Father is in union with me? The things I say to you I do not speak of my own originality, but the Father who remains in union with me is doing his works. in addition read this verses: Joh 7:16Jesus, in turn, answered them and said: “What I teach is not mine, but belongs to him who sent me. Joh 8:28Jesus then said: “After you have lifted up the Son of man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing of my own initiative; but just as the Father taught me, I speak these things. Joh 12:49For I have not spoken of my own initiative, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment about what to say and what to speak. nothe only does these verses throw your trinity doctrine into the dustbin, it also teaches you the role Jesus plays in jehovahs plans! As for Matt 19:17, look at the previous verse and the next two verses, understand what the person was asking Jesus, thus you will know which commandments Jesus was talking about. read Le 18:5 and Lu 10:25-28. |

DoctorAlien:stop all this postulations! READ THE SCRIPTURES! Joh 4:34Jesus said to them: “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Joh 5:30I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him who sent me. Joh 5:36But I have the witness greater than that of John, for the very works that my Father assigned me to accomplish, these works that I am doing, bear witness that the Father sent me. Joh 17:4 I have glorified you on the earth, having finished the work you have given me to do. Mt 26:39And going a little way forward, he fell facedown, praying: “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me. Yet, not as I will, but as you will.” Joh 19:30When he had received the sour wine, Jesus said: “It has been accomplished!” and bowing his head, he gave up his spirit. DoctorAlien:because you do not want a God you can't explain does not mean you should now create false , mysterious postulations about God!. even though we can not fully know his ways and other things, we are supposed to try and know who he is! Joh 17:3This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ. 1Jo 5:20 But we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us insight so that we may gain the knowledge of the one who is true. And we are in union with the one who is true, by means of his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and life everlasting. |

This commandment I received from my Father.” Joh 19:10So Pilate said to him: “Are you refusing to speak to me? This is why the man who handed me over to you has greater sin.” READ AND UNDERSTAND! |

Therefore Jesus is not God who sent Jesus! ........ Isa 48:14Gather together, all of you, and listen. Who among them has announced these things? Jehovah has loved him. He will carry out his delight against Babylon, And his arm will come against the Chal·deʹans. Isa 48:15I myself have spoken, and I have called him. I have brought him, and his way will be successful. Isa 48:16Come near to me, and hear this. From the very start I have not spoken in secret.
