Which 12 weeks?
NB: If priority visa was not the method used, 12 weeks is just a guide.
Workload determines the final outcome and expected date(s).
NB : Ask Caribbeanwify28

Have you read through the thread and made up your averages on non - priority spousal application time schedules?

Hello Everyone,
Please who has applied recently for settlement visa here? I came across the post below and was wondering if this is TLS' latest modus operand.
I still have my IELTS Life Skills certificate, TB test result and Appendix 2 with me in Nigeria. Other supporting docs have been sent to my wife. In view of AdaNewbie1290' post, i'm wondering if i should post the remaining docs to my wife or go to TLS for my biometrics appointment with it. We are using priority service, so i dont want any delays.

AdaNewbie1290:

I used TLS Abuja for my biometrics. The only documents they took from me where my application form, passport and payment confirmation for priority. Every other thing including financial requirement form, Tb test certificate and the print out of my online payments, they refused to collect and directed me to send to my sponsor. This was ending of August.
Good luck

Hello Everyone.

Please help:

I made a handful of errors on my settlement visa application.

1. I omitted the last digit of my passport number

2. I have had 2 previous visitor's visit visa refusals but only mentioned one in my application.

*sad*

What can I do to correct these errors as they were not intentional.

I submitted 3 weeks ago and have been experiencing serious nervousness since I realised my mistakes

Something really weird has happened. I called the HO today and the call agent said a decision was made yesterday 12.10.16. When I called last week 3.10.16 and the agent told me a decision was made on 28.09.16. The below email was received on Wednesday 5th October....Every time it's something different its 125 days working days now. My husband was expecting to return before our anniversary next week if all went well but I don't understand what is happening now. This whole process is so long!! errgghhhhh sad sad

Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service.

I have tracked the status (GWF******* and date of birth ******) and
found that the application has been processed and a decision has been made
and it should be with you in the next few days.

Please note that your passport and documentation could still take some time
to reach you whilst being sent back from the decision making centre and
whilst other administrative formalities are completed. The visa application
centre will be in contact with you regarding the collection or delivery.

If you have purchased a courier service then your documents will be
dispatched to the delivery address you have provided. We appreciate your
patience while you wait to receive your documents.

EZAKY:

Yes i think the two week wait after decision has been is normal, the only anxiety you are experiencing is you were told too early. I got the email of decision made on the 10th and passport ready for pick up 15th , on the visa the decision was actually made on the 6th. 6th to 15th is about two weeks. So any time from now you will get the ready for collection email. Just calmdown d wait is almost over. Dont worry the decision will be favourable by God's grace. The only issue is d visa is uaually one month so my advise is your hubby sld start packing bcs he may have less than two weeks to leave .
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Caribbeanwify28: 7:13pm On Oct 13, 2016
My husband went for his Biometric on 20th April 2016.
If the wait is killing you already.. I have been killed and buried!! lol
If the lawyers didnt tell me it would take 3 months I would have paid priority for sure!! Each case is different.. unfortunately for mine they decided to drag their feet...

All the best tho smiley

Am so sad.
Isnt there somewhere one can send a mail to?

If I get refused based on those mistakes...I can at least show them the mail as proof that I did try to rectify the error.

Am so so unhappy.

If u are sure u missed the last 2 digits of ur passport number u will be asked to revisit TLs center where u did ur biometrics to correct the error....

"about mentioning just one of you 2 previous refusals"........... Its not a big issue too.... it would have been if u lied about being refused before ....

In the meantime I'd advice u to try reading from pages 1 - 205... it will keep u entertained while u wait ....

Just forward TB test certificate and English test certificate to your wife immediately, you can submit your Appendix 2 with your application form with your international passport. If you dont do it like that just know is 100% visa denial.
Good luck and GOD bless

It wasn't easy to have waited for the long 12weeks....towards the end of week we were really stressed out. we called our solicitor and he said no news from the Home office. embarassed. My spouse rang the Home office on the 16th and we were told a decision was made on the 13th September.
We got our decision email Saturday 17th September, picked up passport 21st September.......and to God be all the glory I was granted.
Currently in the UK with my Wifey and settling in well. I wish everyone the best and Gods favour, speed in Jesus name......#smiles grin

N.B...WE APPLIED UNDER THE FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT EXEMPTION RULES AS WE ONLY HAD TO SHOW ADEQUATE MAINTENANCE.

dtbg28:
I submitted my application with my Bsc Certificate alongside the NARIC certificate. As much as I wanted to submit only the Bsc certificate, our solicitor kinda insisted we get the NARIC cert which I was able to get in 2 working days for £150 thereabout by uploading my Bsc cert, transcript and a letter from my institution stating that my degree was taught in English....We had to use a solicitor cos ours is a peculiar one which I haven't seen on this thread cos we are exempted from the financial requirement but have to show adequate maintenance. It's just two weeks out of a possible 12 anyways....#smiles.
