May end up a bit like buying a winter jacket in Lagos and taking it over there...not sure you'll get something that's warm enough...probably best to save money and buy in Canada, to make sure you get stuff that really works. Search online and compare pricing at Canadian retailers (e.g., Walmart, etc).

Yes its best to buy here cos the winter jacket you buy from Nigeria won't do anything

Wow since April? You need to contact them cus the timeline is now 16weeks!!
I applied and did biometrics exactly 2months ago, but iv not heard from them. I heard there is a lot of traffic online!
There is a thread for open work permit.

Hello House.
I really don't get it...why do people say going for a pgc/d is not an upgrade from b.sc & so the VO wld frown at your application if you have a b.sc & have now opted to go for a pgd. From what I understand pgc/d is an advanced learning program & a POSTgraduate qualification awarded AFTER a university degree. Even when applying for a pgd program, one of the admission requirement is a university transcript so Please I wld really like to understand why a VO wld frown at ones application because he/she is going for a pgd after gaining a b.sc...anyone pls.

Yes I have a Bsc and I applied for PGC. Gaining admission is pretty easy for Canadian colleges. These are the following documents I submitted:
International passport Bio-data page
Bsc Transcripts
Statement of Result
Birth Certificate
Curriculum vitae
Online WAEC results with Scratch card attached
A form I downloaded and filled from there website, i can send it to your mail if you can't download it.
Then my transcripts was also sent to the school via post mail.
Then send all those docs you scanned to the international office mail

But the college mandates that you make a deposit of 2300cad before your offer letter is released. The whole process was done within a month. You know these colleges are highly business oriented lol
I will be very honest with you here. The recharge card I spent on making calls would buy me a techno phone because these Canadians can be very slow and annoying at times. If you don't call, I don't think your mails will be checked on time. I wish you all the best in your application.
