Please I am really traped in the WES Evaluation process. My documents has been sent back to waec for verification, for weeks now no change in the status of the evaluation. I guess waec hasn't received any document from them. I have been writing to them, demanding for a courier service to send the docs so as to expedite the process, but all my emails goes unanswered; I only receive an automated acknowledgement message. I am beginning to regret using WES for Evaluation, their own protocol is too long. The deadline for applications from international students is Dec. 1st in the school I applied to, and all documents must be received by the deadline. I have sent everything, but just this evaluation, and it's compulsory to be submitted.
Please do anyone have an idea of how I can contact WES, they are just frustrating my efforts here.

Please send a msg to them using Fax. They seem to attend to that on time than normal regular e-mail messages. Dont even bother calling them, they wont pick.

Hello everyone, I am kindda new to this, but I hear lots of testimonies that made me feel, I will be giving mine soon as well. I am a graduate of mechanical engineering, with a HND, looking to get to run my MSC in the USA, but I really need a guide, as to cheap institutions, where requirements for admissions are easy around Indiana or anywhere close, coz I knw someone there, and also, the challenges I am likely to face as an international student right from the point where I seek my visa. Like I said pls, I am very new yo this. Any info that will help me will be greatly appreciated.

* Well you should learn to use google and read this thread from part five to get all the answers you so desire.
* However you would need to write tests (GRE $205 and TOEFL $185)
* You would need alsoa WES evaluation to convert your HND to Beng like format. HND folks need this for a smooth ride.
* Since you are interested in Indiana then simply go to 4icu.org access USA then search for schools in indiana for what you like.
* Now if you want cheap schools then tell the house your budget so people can tell you which schools to look out for.
* since you are late for spring 2017, Fall 2017 is your best option.
*Most schools close admission in mid JAN and FEB
*Its obvious that you are late for your GRE exam already, but you can squeeze in Toefl (however GRE is more Important for Engineers)
*If you have Money in this Recession then look for schools that can give you funding in second semester (use Google or ask peeps here, they might not answer sha) then hustle the rest and aim for fall 2017. some school in texas are quite cheap sha and they accept poor (challenged) GRE Scores (read this thread like craze for answers).

Thanks to everyone that answered my question about the national youth service. Well am here again with my questions oooo. I'll soon be a graduate of chemistry and am hoping to do my MSc in either chemical engineering or pharmaceutical science. When I checked out some universities,i was kinda happy cause i can do my Msc in those two fields I mentioned with my B.tech chemistry but some courses were listed as program requirements which I don't understand. ...please help...
Also, which is more advisable to do thesis option or non thesis option?

Thesis option is always better because its research based and takes two years to 18 months or so. while non thesis is like one year and project based.
The courses are prerequisites that you have to complete to brush you up on the fundamentals of the program you are switching too enroll for.
also send a mail to the graduate coordinators of those departments to get better clarification. schools operate differently.

6 years since you left school
No structure to what you have been doing.
You failed at your previous school and left.

You appear to the visa officer to be a very big risk of absconding from the school
or not returning home.
Unless you can present very strong ties to prove return home you will be refused again.

U urself knw why u were denied visa [6yrs issue] but still u have to post ur full transcript for the gurus to read and find the solution to ur lapses I pray u would be favoured in ur next attempt

@ OGreene it might be rejecting your card may be because the maximum limit of your card is not up to 205 dollars which is d fees for GRE. If the rejection persist then u can ask someone to pay it for u abroad using foreign card.That is my opinion.
