Who said being able to keep good conversations online has a race or a particular gender? My friend! It's an individual stuff, some people put it up while some can't help it.. Some keep good convos online but fail woefully offline while sometimes the above is the reverse..

If my use of audience is what brought about the top management and first lines staffs then may Inform you that Audience isn't a formal word. I may decide not to give my friend audience (listening ears). What you guys miss is using the same way/ pattern of communication for different people. A guy who starts a conversation with 'Hi' will surely get a 'Hi' reply from an introvert but may not get that from an extrovert. That is when knowing your audience comes to play.

Mood Is also a factor that affects chats,So do Insecurities when one partner starts questioning the motive behind the chats. Other factors too numerous to mention play other roles.

Ouch! Word! I had ds same convo wt a lady friend yesterday...It started this way...I said "How are u" and she responded "fine". I purposely kept mute to see what she will say next...I guess she was staring at her screen waiting for me to say somthing...when she got tired, she said "why are you not sayin nothin?", i chuckled and that's when I had to tell her that it is suppose to be a conversation not a boring interrogation! She started throwing up all the excuses her fellow ladies are throwing in here...

majority of Naija girls really sucks when it comes to chatting!! they do except a guy to do the whole talking!
even when you do the way they reply makes u wanna just stretch out your hands nd give em a hard knock on the head! lol ..not all of them tho ..some of them re so chill nd cool ...you never can get bored!

when you're trying to make new friends Naija girls re always the last thing I think of lol cus many of Em ain't really social . all they watch out for is how rich is he nd all that but they hate admitting to this fact!

I met this girl from Ireland she's a yoruba girl actually but was born nd have lived there all her life ..I jus couldn't believe how cool nd chill she was ..I never for once got tired of the conversation .

Communication is no gender thing either, I've met some boring guys but I learnt to deal with them.. You should do the same

It wasn't a competition. I've noticed guys here are inflexible, hardened and hell bent on their opinions. What's the use of trying to be reasonable with people who have chosen be unreasonable.

Went through this thread I understand what you meant but I must confess MOST naija ladies sucks in chatting.

You mention mood, very true. average naija ladies go through a lot like school problem, parental issue, home chores, mentrual cycle, broken heart from past relationship just to mention a few so they are ALWAYS not in the mood for chatting.

The ones that chat well are the ones that are less busy eg I just finished Uni and I found out that all my lady friend that are always busy during school days all of a sudden started initiating chat and they even chat better than I do.

what changed? they are less busy probably just waiting for nysc, chilling at home, less problem to think about.

You are right, it's not actually ladies fault.

Yeah seems so, it seems on NL if you criticize or use mean sarcasm, people likes such post.

About interest I can remember a lady like that doesn't reply well on chat but when we started project and I asked her "how far project?" if you see the way she was bombarding me with whatsapp message. na me run comot whatsapp sef

The interest of the reciever really matters a lot.
