My Good people, I'm planning a missionary journey with my DW ( LO due early July). I intend to use Dr. F and Oakbend Hospital Houston. Any suggestions for the best accommodation to use. I'm so concerned about proximity and cost.
Also, how much should I mention to the VO as my budget.
Thanks

Apparently Nigeria issues max of one year visa to NonNigerians, typically.

Now the question arises that why have they been issuing 2 years visa to our babies on this thread.

Perhaps because both parents are Nigerian?

Let's see how it all plays out.

From what I can see online, its 2years

Hello house. Pls I need a little clarification.
Can I get babys American passport and do visa on arrival in 9ja.

What's the advantage of getting a 9ja passport in the US before exiting.

What's the difference between ETC..expedited travel certificate and a 9ja visa.

Thank you.

How is the friend a hater? We should stop using meaningless and inflammatory words. The friend may simply have been mistaken.

Hello house, happy new year. I posted sometime ago in December that I had a tourist visa but later changed my mind to use it for birthing. I was advised on this platform to either go for the vacation and workshop i intended to use it for first or take the risk of writing a change of intent and pray to God that I am not sent back. Eventually, i registered for another conference in January and I traveled to NY for the purpose of attending the conference/ short vacation. I spent 3 weeks and i'm back. So here are my questions;

1. Do I still need to write an intent letter to the US embassy here?
2. I am due in second week in March, hope its not too soon if i travel back second week in February cos i left NY January 18.
3. Do they really confirm how much you have on your card at the POE? so i can prepare myself.

Thank you.

VOs actually read these threads... people like you are the reason that they no longer buy many of the excuses Nigerians give today. Obviously the initial "workshop" on which your visa was granted was false.

But you all serve a "god that never falls" though.

Yes, you can.

The only advantage (if it can be called one) is that you would not need to process a naija visa or ETC

The ETC is just a letter written on the Naija embassy letter head and can be used only once while the 9ja visa is on the American passport and can be used multiple times (if its a multple entry visa sha).

ETC = Emergency Travel Certificate

See here - https://www.nairaland.com/1792662/u.s-non-immigrant-visas-listening/152#53126274

You can't obtain a visa for a holiday/conference then fail to use it for that reason, claiming you just discovered you were pregnant AFTER you obtained the visa. You will be questioned at the POE why your intent changed. VOs and CBP officers at the POE have seen these same excuses from Nigerians ad nauseum. You do not want to get flagged for having abused a visa.

There has been a lot of confusion surrounding the recent Executive Order on immigration signed by President Trump. The only change that affects our Nigerian visa applicants at this time is that Dropbox renewal is only available to applicants who previously held a visa in the same category that expired less than 12 months prior to the new application.

For a long time, i refrained from commenting on the ongoing trend of 'change of intent', but in view of President Trumps' directives/orders, i have concluded that we Nigerians are the architect of our own problems and President Trumps remains the President of America not for the whole world.

Dear mothers/mothers to be, the issue of afterthought of using ur visa to birth only truncates genuine future b1/b2 visa applicants the chances of being accessed to have honest and truthful intentions. Now it has gotten to d point that every married woman applying for a vacation/conference must have a sinister motive to birth, which isnt true in all cases.

Thank God for the continued enlightenment on this forum.

For those who just come on here with the 'i just knew abt this thread' 'i just found out i am pregnant' and so on opening statements, pls do urself some good and read just from Part 3. I also consider it has laziness to expect someone to just rush to ur beck nd call on d excuse dat 'i just knew abt dis thread'.

I got all the info i needed from d beginning to the end of my missionary journey last year on this thread and this is someone who never entered plane out of dis country b4, no prior travel experiences.

God bless all our struggles for our LOs and our labour will nt be in vain.

I think the denial may have something to do with you and your husband's job, maybe the VO wasn't convincd that you can conveniently afford the trip...MAYBE...JUST MAYBE

It might be that the VOs are not satisfied that you earn enough to compel you to come back to your current jobs? Other than that, i can't think of a reason why you would be denied. I'm not sure that you will be successful with an emergency interview either - it is not an emergency if you simply want a visa to go have a child in the US. You can try again... but be mindful of appearing desperate which will only make things worse. Others have ideas?

Good morning good people, please has anyone flown on Air maroc and how is there services as regards long layovers and all. DW is leaning towards them due to the shorter time of travel to JFK(spending less time up in the air). I would have preferred Turkish as there fares are almost the same as the air maroc but she doesnt want to sit in for too long as she is going to be alone on this leg.

Any help please?

I travelled to UK on air-maroc with my family, the flight was filled to the brim and their food was wack but what i love most about that trip was that we travelled with over 10 bags and also over 10 bags on our return and none of our bags was missing or tampered with.
Considering the lay-over, we were scared we may lose some luggage but we thank God. I like this about air-maroc

Try other countries. Go on vacation. Have your at least three to four visas, used and expired before you try US. The multiple denial you have on US application will take a lot to get pass by the consulars. Try get a legal american citizen or relative who has a good job and tax history to invite you when ever you want to try and i would strongly advise you stay away from the US VISA APPLICATION for at least 2yrs while enriching your travel history with other countries. They also sense desperation sometimes and deny for no reason and this is why you shouldnt have applied again again and again after been denied twice. This is a really sad piece from me but trust me you need to correct the impression by calling their bluff and visiting other countries for the next few years before applying again. Goodluck and wishing entries into many beautiful countries across America.
